I really don't think you have anything to be scared of. I've had a ghost like this in my Mom's house all my life. He likes to hide things, or throw things, he's even went as far as changing the stations on the tv while were all watching it. This leads me to believe that it may be a child, or a friendly/playful ghost. It has never harmed anyone and it's presence does not feel bad, so we just live with it. The only thing I will not do, is acknowledge it's exsistance. If you confront a spirit that has not passed on, that usually will lead to worse things.
I would not worry, it's probably been there longer than you know, I would just learn to share the same space. |

what you may have is a lost spirit, it won't hurt you so don't worry it is very rare for a spectre or ghost to hurt you don't show fear because they thrive on fear just ignore it.

Find out where the spirit comes from check local records fromlibrary it could have been someone who died in the house also see whether it is male or female or even a young child.

It sounds as if your house is haunted, but not by a poltergiest. If there was a poltergiest, the events you described would be very violent. Instead, it sounds as if the spirit(s) in the house as simply bored and playing a few harmless tricks. If you get really worried about them, just start talking aloud. All the spirtis usually want is attention.

There is someone in your house that dosent want to grow up. The spirit in him causes another spirit witch we call poltergiests. This spirit can cause things to be misplaced, turn on and off, or make noises. This spirit is harmless.

It was Halloween at my Aunts house and my mom was
taking a picture of me (it was a poloroid) in my
Crow costume. It came out and their was a blue
streak beside me. We thought it was something wrong with the picture so we put under a black light and it came clearer. It looked like a demon!
Freaky huh? We've heard that my Aunt's house was haunted (she's very old). I thoght it was really
scary!!! Could somebody please tell me what it is

i think you are dealing with a ghost that badly needs attention when something hapens think of a name and say soso please stop i know you are just playing it may comunicate back to you in a strange way then you talk and it may stop when you alarm turned off it may be a sign that the ghost likes to sleep ith you when the lights turned on it may be a sign that you could have triped or he/she is afraid of the dark |

Well i dont now about anyone else but if there was a Poltergiest in my house i would not try to do anything that might it off. Just think that is its house to. It sounds as if you may have a spirit, but not a poltergeist. They tend to be more violent than just a lost spirit. Don't feel afraid. They basically do harmless tricks (I know because I've lived with it my whole life). If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of him or her. Think of it as company and entertainment, but please, don't be afraid. Good luck!

this seems spooky, I have the same things happen to me in my house, well our house I live with my parents I am 16 and they say that teenagers experience polterguiests more then others.I get things like stuff going missing then turning up in the most obvious places and things drop like ornaments I admit the only time this has occured is when the door is open and there is wind but the ornaments are way away from any windows and doors etc, I get out of the corner of eye visions of people and radio and tv goes on un-expectally
it don't happen all time but occassionally usually when I'm irrated or upset it's as if a poltergeist wants to hurt my feelings even more when i'm upset by doing something weird!!!!!!! |

But I watched Montel Williams show with Silva Brown and they had the same type of things all she said is to talk to the spirit and ask it to go into the light and tell them not to be afraid becouse spirits are or were human so help them threw it and its not a lost spirit becouse you probably what have seen it. --- Matt |

Don't be afraid of what happens. We all have our place on this Earth. In my home we have very strange occurrences. I used to come home during early morning hours, usually between three or four A.M., and as i walked up to the front door i could hear voices. Singing voices seeming to come from the other side of the door-inside the house. the first couple of times I figured one of my sisters was still up or fell asleep with the t.v. on. as soon as I would open the door all sounds would cease and the house was dark. This occurred every night that I came home late. Twice I stopped to listen, at that point there mumbled confusion. I found that if I didn't pay attention the voices would be comprehensible but not understandable to a conciense mind set. More like when someone is talking to you while you are reading a book. You know and hear what they are saying but you don't really understand because you are not listening directly. This continues to this day. When we,(my girlfriend and I) are home alone someone knocks on my door. Thinking it's one of my sisters or parents i tell them to come in. After not hearing an answer for a while I get up and open the door to no-one. I check the house to find no-one home. Light switches flick off and on, doors open and close but all out of my personal sight. At night footsteps click-clack by my door like hoofprints on glass. My name has been called in a sharp, loud whisper from the wash room as I walk by at night on my way to the restroom. That one always causes me to stop dead in my tracks and my heart stops dead. We never have been touched or hurt personally but the dogs and a cat we used to have are often disturbed by the presence. The dogs are always the first to know they are around. These things only happen in the summer months. We live on a reservation in Arizona and with all that has happened out here in past generations I am not at all surprised of what goes on. They are my people too. We all live together.

Although I can not explain the hall lights incident, I can explain the alarm clock. I have found many times that I have, during the night switched mine off, half-asleep, and barely remember it. Try putting your alarm clock on the other side of the room and see what happens. You may also try putting tape over the switch (or whatever it is) that controls weather the alarm is on or not. if the tape has been moved, someone has tampered with it. if it hasn't, and the alarm is still off, the supernatural may be involved. |

Once the body dies the brain shuts down. We only use something like 20% of are brain so I reckon that when you die the other part of your mind opens up and projects outwards from the grave in the same pattern as radio waves. Some people are able pick up on these waves and the ghost will try to collect it's self together and form shape.
Pending on wheather the mind is strong enough it is able to appear in front of people and even move things. Young children are most vunable because there minds are more open than a man that has lived a long life, however this is not always the case. |

I totally believe what you are saying. I have weird occurances in my house as well. Loud music plays in my brother's ears late at night and he has no radios in his room. Something holds me down in the middle of the night and I shake, and this makes me sick all the next day. My brother is a well-built, pretty strong guy and when he experiences this being held down , he cannot move at all. Don't be afraid I don't think it will hurt you they just like to mess around! I am wondering in which part of North London you are living. My best Friend, who lives in the same road as I do in Muswell Hill, has experienced the same thing in her house. She has continual problems of lights going on and off especially when she enters or exits a room. (its always the opposite of what she wants.. ie: the light goes off as she goes in and turns off as she leaves). I've been in that house countless times and have never felt uncomfortable, but we have always felt that its not an electrical problem. |

Once when i first moved in my house for the first three weeks every time i went to lay down in my bed to go to sleep at the foot of my bed I felt someone crowling up my bed it was a person it stopped cause I was shaking alittle I was scared! but not just that it used to run through the halls and shake the doors alot! once it realized no one was scared anymore all of that stopped happening.So I believe that something is in your house it just it seems nice so don't do anything stupid to make it not be nice. >Dannaye< |

ok i dont think its a poltergiest. personally i think its a ghost. i lived in a house when i was younger and it was filled with ghosts and if you dont believe me about that then ask my parents!!! they saw most of the ghosts but we heard all of them. poltergiests are focused on a certain person, not on a place. if the ghost or ghosts dont do anything more than that then dont worry about it. if you need any help i will be able to help. I dont think you should be scared, say your prays and hope God will protect you.
Put some flowers out or open windows... go out?
You might feel better.
Ask friends around and familys.
Dont do anything that involes ghosts.
If you're scared out of you're minds talk to a priest.

Dont be scared, just try something new, eg: opening windows, putting flowers around.
Alot of people are scared but dont be maybe its telling you something...
