my name is evelyn lozraites.i was born on 8/19/58.at metropolitan hospital in ny city.my mothers last name is kazura.i have no idea her first name.she was 29 yrs old when she had me.i was born to the name of effie kazura.my mother was from greece and put me up for adoption on jun17,1960.i was in several foster homes till age 2 yrs.when the lozraites family adopted me.my birth mother spoke no english and came to ny usa in 1956 with her uncle,his name unknown.when she became pregnant as a greek othrodox woman she was guilt ridden.the illegimate pregancy she provided no info on the father to he hospital or agency.the father was a sailor on leave and stayed at her apt in ny.when he was told of the pregnancy he went back to sea promising to return he never did.she never heard from him again.she worked as a housekeeper for a dentist and his wife.and when in greece her parents died when she was 8yrs old.she worked in a stocking factory.she has 6 brother s for whom she cared for.her uncle eventually left her here in the us alone.she gaveme up for adoption because at the time i was born 2 months early was a rh baby and sick.i stayed in the hospital for 5 months after i was born.my birth mother would now be 72 yrs old.i am 43yrs old and totally alone now.both my adoptive parents died young.51yrs and 65yrs.so i would like to find my birth mother and perhaps her brothers to reunite with her and them before any more time goes bye.i hope your organization can help me.thank you evelyn lozraites.rosemount mn.she was 5ft 3 inches and 140 lbs.1956 was the year she came to the usa with her uncle.it is unknow if she went back to greece or not.
