Yep, I agree. They should let them play tag.Back in the 1930's here in the south, 4th. graders would bring their guns to school and go hunting doing recess, for real. And ya know what?? No one got hurt and they got along fine. |

Because she is a principal doesn't necessarily mean she is smarter nor wiser..That simply means she has more pull.. :)..Really..Being intelligent doesn't always mean people will make the best decision.. Sincerely Rusure |

I so agree with you on this subject. My son was just given a month worth of lunch time detention for playing dog pile. no warning was given they got caught once and bam that was it. one time at a parent teacher night my son ran up to his best friend that had been on a 2 week vacation and grabed his hand ans shook it kinda hard (being boys) they were laughing and having a good time when a PTA mom walked by abd screamed at them to get thier hands off af each other. I was dumb founded. I lost it I marched myself right into the principals office and spoke my mind and do you know what they told me? they told me that it was concidered(sp?) sexual harrasment!! can you believe it two 8 year old boys shaking hands roughly is sexual harrasment.. what is the world comming to? ... |

That is so silly. I had fun playing tag until I was a teenager. No one I knew ever got hurt playing it. Why not quit playing something like dodge ball where it promotes hitting another student? JMO...Trouble :) |
