I'm Christian, and I trust the mainstream church about as far as I could throw it. |

Dear Friend; Thanks for the info, but I question your comment that you are not a Christian, and probably never will be. This is your right to believe anyway which you choose, but why have you so strongly ruled out Christianity? I was a bit stubborn for 20 years, and was a stern athiest. Through some unrelated events, I found myself in church one day, against my will, and was saved by the Grace of God. If you do not believe in Christianity or God, I truely understand your position. I must tell you however, that God is real, and so is Christianity. Please don't rule out something so wonderful. Be objective, and attempt to find out for yourself what both sides of Christian viewpont is all about. I only hope that you will someday change your perspective on this issue, and that you too, will find God..........Good Luck, ....... High Speed |

I read the link which you have given, and to be quite honest about it, according to the writer of that story, virtually anything can be hypnotic. How on earth can one be so suspicious? And how can someone effectively use hypnotic methods if they themselves do not even know that they are using hypnotic methods? To each thier own, but as for me, I'll stick to Christianity. It is so much easier to understand........ High Speed |

well I became a child of God before I ever entered a Church so I doubt if that is the reason. We all have free will and I dont think a church is going to try and brain wash you, at least not a Church where the God of the Bible is being taught and not a cult. |

One of my friends was telling me that she used to teach a Catholic Education Class to children and she felt really bad because she felt like she was brainwashing them. Like she would ask, what is the answer to blah blah and the right answer that taught and instilled into them was Jesus. In a sense though, yes I agree, it does seem like it's brainwashing. ~XxSuaveoO~ |

I am not a christian. But I am very spiritual. I worship nature and the earth. That is more important that worshipping someone that can't be proved to exist. Anyway, I don't know if it's considered brainwashing, but they do use fear to get you to believe in what they believe, not love. How could you trust a religion or group that that used to sell passes to heaven? And I'm not just a stupid kid, I have read the bible and I have made an educated decision that christianity and any other organized religion causes more problems that it does good, such as war. And another thing, I remember when I was a young kid, I went to a church retreat and they told all of us that our pets would not go to heaven. Why would you tell little kids that? If there was a heaven, humans would be the last ones to deserve to be there. We have destroyed the earth with no regard to anything but mankind. |

I haven't check out the site, but yea, the church does use mind control on us cause they don't tell the truth about God, the Bible or His Son. But we are to learn all about the Roman Catholic Church and their dogma, even through the Prostestant churches. Peace. Free Girl |
