WHY DO YOU DO THIS

Taking an analytic mind
And making it feel emotion
Why do you do this
It causes such commotion

My heart can't live inside my brain
Nor does my brain have a heart
Don't confuse this foolish one
We're much too far apart

I'm still trying to figure it out
With my analytic mind
Why do you do this
And you do it all the time

I'm sensible and logical
And you make me feel like a fool
And you're not here in selfdefense
So I'm making up my own rules

And I don't know how you do this
Cuz it's really my own game
But this analytic mind
Hopes yours is thinking the same
