I like many of the thoughts that you have expressed here with this post because to a large degree , that is how I feel . I do feel the need to make one correction for you though , it was not the Christians that slaughtered the pagans and converted whom ever agreed to , to insure their survival , it was the Catholics ( Christianity is the worship of Christ , catholics worship Mary his mother ) . Although personally , I hate the idea of some really weird night taking a hold and a child being conceived via me and a woman , I would hate for the child to be aborted but , I do beleive a woman has the right to choose if she chooses responsibly . Abortion should never be used as a form of birth control when there is a such thing as contraceptives for both men and women and they should both be responsible enough to use at least 2 forms of protection . I can understand one mis-hap , they do happen and so this could be rectified . I beleive that at that point it is up to the mother and father ( providing he is still around / assuming responsibility ) to sit down and discuss the pros and cons of both abortion and adoption and the woman should be allowed to decide after they have discussed all of the data . But , if it happens again and abortion is chosen again , I beleive that both parents should have to go thhrough sterillization procedures by law because they have proven themselves as murderers . Anything that grows inside of a body is alive !!!! If it were not then the body's system would abort it . I also beleive that indigent parents ( both dads and moms ) who keep having childreb that they do not care for and push it off on someone else should be sterillized too by law . The reason I beleive the laws should refine and intervein is because people no longer care enough to police themselves and many can not think coheirently for themselves and need the media and politicians to tell them how to think and for that fact ..... 'nuff said . I do agree with you though about mother earth becomng over populated by a pretty undeserving species of animal ( yes we are a form of animal because we are neither vegetable nor mineral and we are certainly not immebas (( I know I spelled that wrong )) ) . But , if you will take a look at someof the ancient civilizations and their records ( especially the myans and egyptians ) of history . They are very immaculate and they tend to say that man has different species all through time have come to be king of our planet ( dinosaurs , humans etc. ) but once they have taken more than the planet can with stand nature it'self will cause an un-heeve and do away with the species and according to their records , humans have already got the smack down and had to srart over at least 2ice already . And it is a real shame that people trake it for granted . You would think we would learn from the 2 warning shots because , I get the feeling that the 3rd. will totally devestate our species and it will be too late to colonize anywhere else in the universe for any prolonged period of time . Well , those are just my thoughts .... Take Care All and be safe .....  |

Right on, Firstborn. It all goes back to taking responsibility for our own actions. Men are men and are subject to imperfections. We screw up and blame everything we can on God or Satan or our parents or our government...anyone but ourselves. Admittedly, there are things that happen, biologically speaking, that I will never understand (such as diseases, mental illnesses, and things of that sort) but that is another debate entirely. And it was the early catholic church who was persecuting EVERYONE who presented any kind of contradiction to what they were teaching; including those who were christians. REAL christians, who were seeking the TRUTH in the bible, were killed and labeled heretics for going against the church. Also, not ALL anti-abortionists are christian. Many Logical thinking individuals who have no roots in this religion or any kind of religion can see that the act of abortion is hideous. And I don't say that condemingly to those who have made the choice to have an abortion. It is simply a fact. Anyone who has ever witnessed or just seen pictures of ANY of the abortion procedures knows that it is horrific. ~peace~  |
| Date: 4/14/2001 6:31:00 PM The crusades were just a orgy of killing and plundering under the guise of ''saving the holyland from the pagens''.They even sacked the christian city of constantanople just do to be doing it.The rabbi has everyright to pray that palestinians are wiped off the face of the earth.But isreal has down some pretty horrendous things to them as well.If both sides are bad then who is god going to side with?Nothing in life is just black or white.There is a gray area for everything.When ever there is a abortion I think 3 things:More air for me to breath,More food for me to eat and more water for me to drink.We need to cut our population very sharply in the next few years.We simply have not enough space,not enough food and not enough water to go around.It will only get worse if we keep on pulloting aswell.I dont need a book to tell me how to live.I dont need to go to some building ever week to find out how either.I beleive we were created by a energy.But this energy doesnt care what you do while you are alive.It will not judge you after you die either.Ill just stick to the pagen beliefs that my ancestors have done for millions of years before me.We will all pass on to the next life no matter what we do here.. |

Well I believe in God, but I am for self-abortion, as if all the folks for abortion, self-aborted, the issue of over population wouldn't be an issue, cuz all those in favor would be history, except for the fact that some people think they deserve life while others don't and hey, a little unborn baby ain't gonna stand up to you, are they?
