EVER TRIED ?

What happened to those wonderful days when everybody wasnt scared to lock their doors and sleep with the windows open? What happened to the days when everybody new their neighbors? what happened to the days that you felt safe in your home?It seems to be getting worse, the other day i did a neighbor a favor a picked up his garbage can from out of the street and pulled it to his yard and picked up his newspaper that was sitting in a puddle of water, he saw me from his back yard and jumped all over me, why is it that you can not even be nice to people without getting into a arguement? I am afraid that the old family values are slowly fading and I hope that as we get older we can keep trying to get along with each other and enstill good values in our children to where they can become wonderful adults and learn to cope with thw world and some of the hatred thats surrounds us, it seems when we voice our opinions on some subjects, some people end up calling you names , i just think that since AMERICA is a free country you should remember how come it is free and how come, we live as we do. Why in such a free country are we having all this name calling,hatred and fighting going ? It seems like we the people should always stick together and learn to live peaceful lives. Because you see life is short and we are here only for awhile. As the old saying goes: treat people the way you would like to be treated and remember its takes more muscles in your face to make an angry face when it takes two to smile. Please people be nice to each other you never know when you might need someone to help you. As for my neighbor, I hope he has a great life!
