Really good question! I think that LOve stronger, because if it isn't, it isn't love at all! If you truly love someone, the fear of being without them, should be greater than the fear of telling them you love them. Hello 9605: (Do you have a name?) I vote for love. My reason for that is because I am a widow. When hubby was dying (19 months ago) don't you think we were afraid? But, what gave us strength was our love for each other. When he was in his final coma, he kept hanging on, and clinically "dying" and coming back to life. The doctor's told me he was doing that FOR ME, because he didn't want to leave me. So I had a talk with him, and told him he could let go, that he'd suffered enough, and that I'd carry his love with me always, as he could carry mine with him into "the next world." All his agitation melted (as measured by all the blood pressure/breathing/heart rate machines etc.). Twenty minutes later, he breathed a great big gentle sigh, and let go. So, love conquored death, and even my fear of losing him. And the love for him is still strong, and still guides me through my day. Please don't read this as a tremendously sad story. It is a story of peace, unity, and LOVE! And I send you love, Amaranth  |
