His sister(Robyn Bynum) adopted me after years of red tape. The FBI tryed to located Dixie to relinquish her parental rights. reportedely she was never found. No one in my family will give me information about her. My birth name is Michelle Lee Shoemaker born in Calif. 1966. I married now raising my 2 children my 2 stepchildren and 1 child from my current marriage. Before becoming a parent myself I always wondered if it ever really mattered that Dixie & I be reunited and now I know the Deep desire to get to know my own natural mother. I thank God for the family that I have who sacrificed to raise me. I love them with all my heart; but now I also need to know Dixie and her whereabouts. Anyone with any information please contact me.
