Has this happend to you? Iwent use the toilet this morning and realized it would'nt flush. Puzzled, I carefully removed the porceline cover that rests on top of the tank. I soon discovered the little chain that goes from the handle to the flap was broken in half, I mean right at the halfway point so as I was'nt able to reuse the chain at all. What to do in such a crisis? For the time being I use d twist-ties you get when you buy garbage bags. (I rarely use them otherwise) Now if I could only get the water to stop over-flowing onto the floor......************************update******* Got tired of buying sponges, and so I invested in a wet/dry vac!!!....

Now i'm just waiting for the comments on how non-safe that is ...lol Well, as for the water turn the darn valve to the water pressure , down... sheeesh...hehe -tina

Date: 3/25/2000 8:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 5301    You could also use a small piece of that beaded keychain when the twist ties eventually rust. Where is the water overflowing from, the tank, or the bowl? ...Handy Hekler
