I met Brian Douglas Borsos in 1997. At the time he was living with his partner for 8yrs, Ben Y Lem. He was quite carismatic. It was not long before I found myself hopelessly involved with him. Over the next 10 yrs he would verbally and emotionally abuse me. He also got me to spend a great deal of money. On vacations, jewelry for him, and investing $20,000 on renovating a house he had bought in his home town of Atlasburg, Pa. I did all these things because I thought I was going to be put on the deed to the property. That was the verbal agreement we had. After about six months of us living there in Atlasburg, Pa...his true colors returned, and once again he was having yet another affair. This one was with a young man he worked with in the mental retardation field, named Rich Wagner. This affair continued for almost a year....before I realized what was going on and moved myself back to the Boston, Ma area. Once back here, Brian called constantly trying to convince me he was going to break it off with Rich....sell the house we had worked so hard on...and move back with me in Bston, Ma. By this time I was diagnosed with a devasting terminal illness. The money from the sale of the house would have helped a great deal as I had to go on disability. After waiting 3 more years Brian finally showed up with a few trash bags of clothes. When I repeatedly asked for my share of the money form the sale of the house. He would get angry and fly off the handle accusing me of all kinds of things. I left one day to go to a doctor's appt. To come home 2hrs later to find him gone without a trace. No money...no nothing. I cannot afford a lawyer to try and find him and get my money back....but others need to be warned about him. Last I heard he was living in the San Fransisco area working in the mental health field. He is a true con man. And cannot be trusted at all. How it changed my life:Financially it has changed my life a great deal...I live on a disability check. Emotionally...it has caused me many problems with dealing people and trusting them. I've not been able to have a relationship since this occurred. I spend most of time alone. And I'm now on antidepressants and anti anxiety drugs to keep things in check.
