My Father passed away on February 15, 1992. It was one of the worst periods of my life. The pain in my heart was unspeakable, and it seemed all the joy and laughter had gone out of my life. At that time I worked nights, from 4:00 pm until 2:30 am. Approximately 11 pm a felt a very warm brushing against my right arm, from the elbow to just above the wrist. It was feather light, almost like a feather. I looked around and no one walked past, the ceiling fans were not on. I then realized it must have been my Dad that all was well and I would be ok. An instance also occurred with my mother. She and Dad had lived between my two brothers farms. During the summer of my Dad's passing she was in the living room reading. All of a sudden she could smell cigerette smoke (my Dad smoked). She just over looked it thinking perhaps it had been from something outside. She smelled it again. With her was my sisters dog, Payton, who was sleeping on Mom's bed. When this happened the third time, it was as if someone was very close to, and blew cigerette smoke in her face. Payton also smelled something, as he came out of the bedroom with his hair standing on end, and he had this growl as of fear. To this day I believe Dad was there, and letting Mom know he was with her. How it changed my life:I have become a believer that all of us has a guardian angel, and that God's presence is always with us.
