Using baking soda as a hair cleaner..............................Whitefawn

This may sound weird, but it truly works and works great. My sister had the chicken poks really bad a few years ago and she got blisters all on her head. The drugist told us to wash the blisters with baking soda and those in her head were itching her real bad so she washed her head in it and it helped alot. It also did the most amazing thing, it takes all of the hair spray build up completely out of your hair and makes it feel wonderful. The is a great and cheap way to help your hair. Try it and your hair will feel sooo soft and free of any kind of build up.

p.s. I wouldn't use it but about twice a month though or it could dry your hair out and you wouldn't want that.

Date: 5/20/2001 4:09:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27215    It is kind of hard to lather baking soda haha, but you just put it all in your hair. I used it just last night and my hair was sooo soft and it even felt really good this morning after my regular shampooing. I just would use it about twice a month though or it could really dry your hair out and you wouldn't want that. Thanks for your replies and good luck. Whitefawn
Date: 5/21/2001 10:39:00 AM  From Authorid: 22065    Yes this is true. It's a good hair clarifier, also helps from all of the chlorine after swimming. Like stated above if you do it to often it dries you out. Good to use just before coloring your hair that way the color takes better..
