Being from Anson Texas I am familure with the lights to the east of anson near funston. they are headlights from the old stanford road. as a teenager we used to take that road to avoid the police. |

I heard about that light from one of my friends. Last night I went out to see it and it was pretty cool. But the thing that really freaked me out was at the graveyard down the road. We had heard stories about how theres this certain gravesite with a big marble coffin type thingy out of the ground. You were supposed to be be able to knock on it and it would knock back 3 times from inside. Let me tell you, it freaked us out cause we knocked about 10 times and it knocked back 3 times and it couldnt have been an echo because it waited a few seconds before it came back. Besides, the top was marble about a foot thick. I advise everyone to go try it because it was cool. You can see it when you turn into the grave yard off the dirt road. its like a big coffin. |

I LIVE IN ABELINE, & IVE SEEN THE LIGHTS. THE FIRST TIME I SAW IT I DIDNT REALLY PAY NO MIND TO IT, BUT I KEPT GOING BACK, 6 NIGHTS IN A ROW TO BE EXACT. THE MORE I SEE IT THE BETTER IT GETS. ME & A COUPLE OF FREINDS, GOT IT ON TAPE, BUT THE CAMERA GIVES US NO JUSTICE, THE LIGHT WE CAUGHT ON THE CAMERA LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE LIGHT THAT WE SAW THAT NIGHT. |

I went out there...it is real. It is not the headlights from some other road. I sat there with my brother...it don't happen till you flash your lights 3 times. |

I've visited the lights many times. It has to be somthing, how can a person sit out there till all hours of the night, night after night after night playing games? It can't be done well it can if the person don't have a life~! I don't think it's a person out there. I have too seen the siloutte i will have to try to video the light also. Hmmm anyone ever think bout putting the recorder at one end of the road while ur at the other? I'll have to figure something out~! |

If you think the Anson lights are "freaky" - try going to Marfa and see those lights - that is something else. |

I have lived in Anson Almost my entire life. I realize that there are those of you who are true believers of the light, however, I'm sorry to deflate your ballons, but the lights are actually the old Stanford Hwy. The lights are the deflectors as cars go by. In 1987 the area was surveyed and it was found that the place on the old road where people park to see the lights is lined up with the old Hwy. Remeber this land is flat and so you would be able to se these deflector reflections. |

Who is it for us to say there isn't anything out there in both Anson and Marfa. I believe there are things out there that we can't explain or imagine. I've seen the Marfa lights on a TV special and believe they are the real legend people claim them to be. I have not seen the Anson lights to date but, since I live in Texas I think I will make a road trip out to both sites to get first hand experience. Demon Jester, ghost hunter and investigator. |

I am from Hawley Tx right outside of anson. I have seen those lights also. I was wondering if there has ever been an investigation actualy done on the anson lights |
