4/16/82, James Davis Dudley(17yrs old then)was last seen at Smith Mt. Lake in Franklin County, Virginia. Donnie Noland was found dead in the lake, Jamie has not been seen since. Possiblity of drugs, theif was taking place that night. 5'7 Tall Blonde hair, green eyes. I do have SS#. Jamie was never found in the lake. We have no idea, neither did the police and anyone at that time knew what happen or why he may have ran if he did. There was one other person on the bank of the cove that night (Ricky St.Clair) he claims to have passed out on alchol or drugs and only recalls 1 thing, a boat pulled up next to them that night when Jamie and Donnie was in the canoe, this is all he has said to this day that we know of. Mother would like to find him, wants to know if he is dead or alive. Donnie was found with strangler marks on his neck. The police drained the lake and found him, however, they never could find Jamie. Jamie always talked about going to California. How it changed my life:This has caused great pain in the family since then and still makes everyone wonder every day Is he alive or dead, would really like to know. We miss him very very much and want him to come home if he is alive.
