I don't know if you have this plant in the ground or in a pot, but if it's in the ground. Try digging it up and putting it in a pot (Which you can rebury if you wish. It'll kep it from getting out of hand). Mint is a great herb! Here's some uses: Crystallize the leaves for use as garnish on sweets, grow the plant near roses to deter aphids, dry it for use in potpurri, mint tea helps digestion, mint juleps, you can make a decoction (Boiling the leaves in some water till the fluids reduce by half) to heal chapped hands, mint tea is also good against colds and is supposed to help with morningsickness, mint also helps alleviate some menstral pains, headache, nausea, shock, and travel sickness when used as more of an aromatherapy thing (sachets, steams, compresses, potpurries, or in muslin baggies in bathwater.) thanks for your comments, i will try some, i have it in the ground, and I have made the tea and i love it, that's what i bought it for, but i have 5 or 6 different kinds in a flower bed, and it's growing everywhere!!  |
