On August 15, 1999 I caught my ex-wife cheating on me with an old, fat, bald, jobless, worthless, sack of... well you know. I had no idea of the affair, we had just came home from a wonderful vacation in Tennesee with our daughter, and life was just going great. We were well ahead of our bills, and had just been in our new house for about a year. We probably had three arguments the whole time we were togeather. But enough about that. When I caught her, I moved back to my parents house untill I could save up some money to get a place of my own. Well I had grown tired of all the sleepless nights of wondering what I did wrong, and why this was happening to me. So I went to a shrink to see if he would prescribe my some anti- depression pills. He refused and said "you will get over it one day". What kind of docter is that? Well it finally got to me the day she told me she was going to take my daughter and move to another state, and there was nothing I could do to stop her. That's when I decided that if I couldn't see my little girl I didn't want to see anything. My parents went shopping and I went to my room down-stairs to end it all right there. I wrote my little note telling why I was going to do this and telling my daughter that it wasn't her fault and that I love her very much. I went to my closet pulled out my .357 magnum loaded it with armor peircing bullets put the gun up to my head prayed a little prayer and then my brother slams open my door, knocks the gun out of my hands with the door, and tells me that "it's not worth it, and my daughter needs me". I know, that doesn't sound strange to you. But my brother died in 1979 of brain cancer. needless to say, I'm still here, the divorce judge offered me everything in the divorce, and most of all, my ex-wife can't move out of state with my daughter unless I sign over all rights to her, and by the way that will NEVER happen. Because now I know how important life is, and how good it feels to get a full nights sleep.
