I used to have neighbours just like that in my other house. They used to throw barbed wire over the fence were my son used to play(3 yr old child!)_I started treating them the same way that they were treating us!(not by throwing wire over the fence!) We went to court and successfully had an AVO served on them! He was put on a bond,then he quietened down! Thank god! But it went on for about 12months.We ended up selling and moving 8 hours away. And you wouldn't believe it but I ended up bumping into the so and so a little while back again down in my area!!!Grrrrr...........................Aussie  |

LOL@Hekler! Your're a riot! I would just tell them that you value quality time with your family and when you decide to have people over you will let them know. Also, (not knowing how old your son is-assuming young because of the kool-aid) you can tell the neighbor that you do not want your son hearing all of the gossip and don't want to have him thinking that gossiping is okay. Or just be blunt and tell them unless the information they have directly effects you that you don't want to hear it.  |

Hey Aussie and Hawk, know where your coming from Aussie, I frequently see my ex-binoccular neighbor and I proudly salute him,LOL! Hawk, my son is 11 and the neighbors son is 13 and started hanging around, for awhile it was fine until he started asking too many questions that sounded as though the questions were being influenced by the parents, also he wanted to start digging up my front pasture to use as a motor cross track, when I told him to go did up his own pasture he said his mom said that it would be better to do it at my place because our pasture was wild grass and not the expensive seed that they had sowed. HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for my son hearing the gossip I told them plain out that I didn't care who does what, as long as it doesn't bother us. None of us cares and we don't need to hear it. One night she called all hysterical that the other neighbor she was having problems with was driving back and forth in front of her house and she wanted to know if I had anything stronger than bird shot for her shot gun. Doesn't sound as though the girl is running on all 8 cylinders os doesn't have all her cookies in one jar. I think I might go over and make friends with that neighbor!!!!!!!!! |

I had neighbors like that to!!! ugh I couldnt stand it! they were always looking inside from thier house, it was real close by. We ended up moving ( them to) .... I cant stand nosey neighbors... now were we are the landlord listens to my phone conversations,,,, it seems like everywhere you go their has got to a nosey somebody!!!!!! I love my neighborhood and have let on that I know what my landlord does.... now she's slacking off a bit...lol...godd luck to you!!! DINA  |

i just moved into my fiances house a couple of months ago, we did live in my apt. well 1 day i was out swimming in the backyard, and i felt like i was being watched, so i looked around and i saw his old cranky, neighbor watching me swim, talk about gross, this old man is mean and rude, and is always telling us we dont do things right , with our own house, i try 2 be nice 2 him as 2 not cause problams, but when i saw him watching me swim i waved at him, and then gave him the bird as he was going back into his house, i dont know if he saw me do that , but i sure did get enjoyment from doing it, lol,  |
