I've seen many specials on atlantis escpecially recently probably because of the new disney movie. Something i saw said that atlantis was probably in what is now South America. Another thing i saw says it was probably on the Island of Thera off of Greece. I actually think Plato made up the story of atlantis as a kind of metaphor for people who let their money and power get the best of them and then forget about the more important things, like being blasted away by a volcano or sunken deep beneath the ocean.  |
