Sitting on the beach of Titahi Bay, Day dreaming by the sea. Wishing my honey was here on this day, To share this moment with me. Couples stroll along warm sands, Stop to gaze into eachothers eyes. Wishing that was us hand in hand, Walking happily side by side. Whenever I go into Wellington city, My thoughts are all of you. I think "Wearing that my honey would look pretty" "Oh, theres a shop she'd love to look through" Whenever I drive to work each morning, I often catch myself. Speaking with you like you're actually hearing, Voicing my love aloud. My life now is not lived alone, Thoughts not of 'me' but 'us'. No longer seeing myself as 'one', But as 'one' with the lady I love. I could be working or just watching TV, And I'll feel you hugging me tight. I'll feel your breath like a warm summer breeze, And everything is put right. There is a certain peace whenever you're near, A calmness fills my mind. You create a smile from ear to ear, Causing my soul to shine. I can sense you standing in front of me, Feel you hands wrap 'round my neck. Gently guiding my head down to your lips, In my mind I kiss you back. So softly I feel you nestle on chest, Your hands they stroke my arms. And my spirit returns each tender caress, In my arms you'll be ever warm. Then the seagulls they cry out again, Bringing me back to this world. And I realise that I have been day dreaming, Though some of our future has been revealed. Such joy for you and I awaits, Some of that joy we're living now. Its a mere morsel, and tantalising taste, Of whats yet to be let out. I love you Karen...so completely, Could never now live apart. Could never now cherish anyone so sweetly, As you....she who holds my heart. Many Kisses Sweet Lady...
