I get it!!! when we sleep, we are mostly always tired, our eyes heavy, kind of like a laptop that isnt hooked up to an outlet, its battery gets low. No one can go days without sleep, maybe 1 or 2, but never too many. Sleeping, and dreams are like our "Batteries" are being recharged. so, when we dream, our minds are hooking up to the "Matrix" kind of like you hook a laptop up to an outlet. If we die in the "Matrix" (our dreams), Our Minds have died, and the body cannot survive without the mind. Now I understand the famous dream that EVERYONE I know has had. The one where you fall or are pushed off a building, cliff, mountain, plane, etc. and you wake up before you hit the ground. That is why no living person I know has EVER had a dream in which they die!  |

yes, if you are dead, and you are seeing yourself laying there, dead, you are dreaming from another person's eyes, which is not the Matrix, maybe you have somehow 'tapped' into another person's "matrix"? If you were in your own Matrix, you would only see out of your own eyes in your dream, you could not be seeing yourself, unless in the dream you were not yourself, but someone else. |

In Dreams i usually see myself in 3rd person view.

Ive had many bruises when awaking... I've been shot in a dream. Brused in same spot i was shot at in dream. But when you are asleep, you still have somewhat of an awareness. Like somehow you still know whats going on.

What you discuss here sounds pretty close to what I myself believe. Some points that I would differ on are the dreams...I have posted something here in the dream section about recurring dreams I (and others) had had of alien invasions of earth and war against alien forces. As part of those dreams, I and others also under went what could only be termed as battle training. We were training (or forced, take your pick) to fight in our dreams...firstly against other humanoid opponents and then against alien opponents. These dream training sessions differed from normal dream states in a number of ways...firstly they were EXTREMELY lucid...you knew you were 'dreaming' so had full control over how you reacted and interacted with the environment and those within it. Secondly there would often be slow motion replays of the battle, from multiple angles in an effort to analyse how you fought and what mistakes you made and how to improve on your fighting technique. Other more 'interesting' differences were that often I and others would wake feeling we had been in a real fight...we would often have bruises, cuts, scratches etc. Often I would have blood in my mouth and my jaw and head and every other part of my body would just ache for days. Some dream warriors (as I like to call them) woke with puncture wounds, bite marks, even broken bones...thats pretty dang realistic for just a dream don't you think. And its not like we were doing these things to ourselves as we slept. For instance, I shared a room with my brother as I grew up...right through the early stages of these dreams...and he would have heard me thrashing aound or beating myself up. Perhaps sometimes we were transported somehow to ACTUAL battles. I believe that most of the time our conscious minds were abducted - not so much the stereotypical physical abduction of the body...only the mind. Often as I dreamt I could sense that my surroundings in my dreams were being manipulated and morphed into a new battle arena etc...and always I sensed other people, who remained unseen, were observing the battle and how I and others were coping with what was happening. You say that you wake in your dreams before you die...another thing about these dreams was that often you would die...you would be torn limb from limb, decapitated, disembowled, suffer the most excruciating pain...I would often see myself just ripped to shreds and bits of me spread out over the ground...then I would be whole again and fighting again...it was like our deaths were being simulated as well. I have spoken with a number of people who have had these dreams and our experiences are so similar its rather shocking. So who created these dreams? Who was behind it all? I honestly don't know...however, going by the methods used it would indicate whoever it was isn't too nice. Though another thought I have often had was that we were sort of 'drafted' if you will...taken against our will and forced to fight for the protection of others or earth or whatever. Perhaps the intentions of those behind it all were/are to train as many people as possible for the coming battle that many forsee happening. Sorta 'The ends justifies the means' sorta thing.
As for is the world like The Matrix...I think thats a pretty good analogy to make. I do believe that was we see is often only surface deep...often what SOMEONE or SOMETHING wants us to see. There are those who are more tuned and see things a little differently...those who, like Neo in The Matrix have a "splinter in their mind"...they sense something is not right with their surroundings but don't know exactly what it is. What if I was to tell you that there are multiple realities...multiple realms...and they are coming together as one. What if I was to tell you that this merger has already begun to take place...and so far only a few can see it. What if I was to tell you that ET and his alien buddies have been around here a WHOLE lot longer than people realise. What if I was to tell you that ET and his alien buddies are just the new face we have given to an age old enemy....evil. Those beings we call 'Greys' and the majestic beings we call 'Nordics' are just recent definitions of Demons and Angels. The coming alien war that I and other have seen and experienced in our dreams...is the age old battle between Good and Evil. So we must pick our sides...do we align ourselves with those who seek a way to remove the masks and facades of this world...or do we dismiss them as crazy and align ourselves with the status quo...blind sheep. Just as the Oracle in The Matrix says "the time will come when you have to make a choice"...hope ya choose wisely. Peace,  |

my firend had a dream similar to that which he will most likely post as i'm posting this but the mutiiple realms. u see u see it from multi angles and see ureself die, what if you are tappingin into a different realm before u die so u end up seeing it happen just not happen so whatends up happening is u get outta there before u actually die but u are forced to stay in "the matrix" so u transfer to a different realm. i may be wrong because i perosnally have never had the dream before and i have just jinxed myself and will probably be next in line but these dreams what if they are training programs like the kung-fu that neo does but for something that is going to happen here in the real world in the future. and the men in the black suits. could u consider those to be the CIA agents? |

My god man, you are right on track with me.
Me myself have faught against aliens, on a beach, no joke. I didnt die. My friends were hit, and i like helped them somehow. Not very clear though. Slow motion happens alot in dreams. I think its just a way of trying to perfect something wrong, like u said I think. Maybe people who have these wars, are being tested in real life sittuations. Everyone knows that your dreams feel just as real as what is real life. So testing in ur dreams is almost the exact thing... I have had many dreams about E.T beings. It is something i look forward to finding. It's my main goal in life u can say.
Maybe our dreams are also put in us, to make it seem like its just an everyday dream. But every once and a while, we get the good dream that felt so real, u can swear it was. |

You say that slow motion is common in dreams...what about multiple viewing angles. Normal dreams provide what appears to be a third person view (often over the shoulder, or viewing the sequence from above) as well as a first person view (from your dream selves eyes) simultaneously. However, with these dreams that wasn't the case...it was like watching sports slow motion replays on TV...from heaps of different angles, then the action would be frozen, rewound, played forward, frozen again like some wierd video...all the while it was like you were receiving some form of instruction such as "you should have kicked here instead of punched" or "next time strike to the eyes to stun it, then repeated strike the chestwall to soften it up so you can plunge you hand through to tear out the heart"...just like some unseen coach was giving you pointers. Okay...I don't think you can provoke these dreams because I honestly don't feel they are your/our creations. However, I do know that there are those who have sought to experience these dreams, almost like willingly volunteering themselves to 'whatever power' to become another dream trainee so to speak. I have heard of some of these people being visited in their dreams and shown a bit of what these battles are like...some choose not to experience them ever again...some however choose to continue. Yeah, slow motion, rewind stop, play, rewind, play. Its all in perfection. I've had this beach dream about 3-4 times, and tons of other E.T battles. I cant remember the others as well, because i've probably only had them once. Just bits and pieces from those i still got.

I very often have re-occuring dreams. Each time, the person is different. or even older, i dont know. Until i have it again, i cant say much more about this. In the beach dream, i had a partner i'd like defend with. A partner's face in which i've never seen, or just can't remember. |

k normally i'd start a new topic in the dreams section but this had to do with this topic. i wasn in the shower today and then i like went into like a dream state or something. i was in a car with my friend driving and then i looked in one of the mirrors and there were two men dressed in suits like in the matrix. they kept following and we started a chase but i came back out of it. it last about 10minutes cause i had music going and only 2 songs had skipped and the 3rd on was just finishing. does this have anything to do with the beach war or is my mind just going insane. |

AgentSmith, my comment goes to use. The long reply you put over the issue with the dreams of battling, and what not reminds me of a book I read in the 9th grade (now in the 12th). The book is called "Ender's Game". It is sort of like the same thing you experienced, except for it was not a dream. He was a chosen few to be sent off and trained to protect earth from these insect like aliens. Anyways, the actual training sequences were battles themselves... in which the main character "Ender" and the other trainees knew nothing about. Of course, Ender was picked out of all of them to be the leader, so to speak. His last training sequence killed the entire race of the alien species, in which the people who trained them let him know that from the beginning it wasn't a training misson at all, it was all real. But, in the end, he found out that it was the humans who attacked these aliens, it was the humans who started the fight against a peaceful civilization. It was a great book, and I suggest reading it. But, the morale of the reply is what your dreams are, could be very real... you may be fighting a battle in another world, dimension, galaxy, or who knows what... but the question is, do you know who's side your on, do you know if your side is fighting for the right morale values... just something to think about, and I'm pretty sure you already know what's going on. Your question is something I have thought about...hmmm...I really don't know the answer to that one. I know that some of the motives and opponents just simply 'felt' evil...others however did not...they were just as confused about the whole thing as I was. My take on it all is this: I do believe that many people who have experienced these dreams have somehow had their consciousness 'abducted' and basically had their dreams manipulated for these training sessions...I feel that while there was NEVER any excuse or obvious reason behind them, I believe that those behind it all are basically attempting to train people for the benefit of man (mostly)...for any war that may be coming up. Something like a 'dream draft' if you will...where people are taken and mandatorially trained, like someone being drafted into the army. There were also some benefits that seemed to come along with this...sorta like little carrots that were dangled in front of those who underwent these things. There would be dreams where you would see the most beautiful sights...like alternate worlds and the life. Sometimes even when you are awake you would see things that others couldn't (I know, I know - they're called Hallucinations I hear ya say *smile*) Also...since these dreams I have had this wierd ability NOT to read peoples minds as such...more their emotions and intentions. I can read people so incredibly well that it freaks people out sometimes. I work in Mental Health (I know - thats ironic isn't it *smile*) and the co-workers I work with call me 'Doc'...because I can meet or just see a client at a distance and basically rattle off their diagnosis, what has probably happened to them in their life etc etc...and I'm surprisingly accurate...more so that TRAINED professionals who spend weeks or even months before deciding on a diagnosis for the client. Another wierd, yet kinda fun, thing I seem to be able to do is 'spiritually visit' close friends or family when I dream...or even during the day if I just quietly meditate. I can do this to the point that the person I am focussing on can actually feel my presence, can sometimes smell or even hear me talking to them. Sounds ridiculous? Ask Thunderhead about it sometime...hey, its cheaper than an airfare to the USA so thats all good. Peace, |

I mean, if you do, that is awesome... at the moment, I am reading this book over the telecult powers, and am progressing very well with it. It teaches you how to be telepathic and telekenetic, and some other methods of doing some cool things with your mind. So, if you are, let me know, because you might be able to give me some pointers. And also, about the whole Matrix topic... have you ever just been sitting there, and then the next moment you feel that everything around you doesn't exist... I haven't felt this ever since I was about 12. I would get this feeling that I didn't exist, that the world and everything in it didn't exist, and anything I did wasn't happening... I remember I could punch a brick wall, and I would feel nothing, even after the phase left, nothing. I can't 'get into' other peoples heads...I just sorta 'read' them. I can't read their minds or anything like that...however, when you realise that the external (us on the outside) is merely a physical representation of the internal (our minds) then if you can 'read' a persons body language or presentation or just 'the air' around them...then I guess in a way you are reading them as it were. As for your question about wondering if things were really...MOST days actually. I will see something and think - that just doesn't look right. Many people who have experienced these things comment about sensing at times they are in a constructed reality. As for if I can shut out pain...YES, I can do that easily. Pain is very much a state of mind. You can block it out with enough focus...like you seem to be able to do. Peace, |

yothis is weird as i started reading agent smiths post above gods_disguise i started feeling what u were talking about gods_disguise even before i red your post. it last for about 5minuts. it was weird as if i sitting in a box or something and eveything around me didnt really exist except i was able to hit the keyboard and click the mouse and change the volume on my speakers. that was weird. oh agent smith i meant to ask u, have u ever been pinged by .gov addresses liek mad? they started about 20minutes after i started this thread 2 days ago. started off slow then they came like every 5 seconds for a couple of hours and there starting to slow down now. i think its actually pretty funny considering i'm from canada. |

Yep...thats what its like...you'll get a few hits just to see if you're online...then they will come in floods pinging the heck outa ya. Hope ya got a good firewall or a programme that can give ya some advanced warning if something is coming at ya ports...alternatively, don't keep anything suspect on your home 'puter. If you need to send or view anything sensitive use other 'puters...internet cafes, libraries, WAP capable cellphones...anything but your home 'puter...or you will find one day it just crashes and files get deleted and/or corrupted...happens all the time. Agent Smith, i know what i'm doing i've been in the computer security area since i was 12 (now 16). i have this computer along with 2 others, soon to be 3 behind a router firewall. so far nothing has gotten by it. i'm pretty sure the nsa or whoever is able to get by it if they try and if they do so they will soon have to get through a linux router i am putting in soon and nothing will be on there so all files are on here. so if they can get by 2 routers (one an actual router and the other a linux box router) and find which computer is the one with the files on it then in my mind they deserve to crash my stuff. i'm starting to go back to screening everything with proxies, irc, icq, web everything not accepting cookies. little paranoid? maybe but it could possibly buy me more time incase of me doing something "stupid". anyway back to the packets. are they packetting me for any particular reason? other than i put a thread up on the internet that seems to be true? has anythin ever happened to u by these "people" (i try to be nice)? |

IkeDude, how bout u try and see how long it takes them to show up to ure house. that has got to be the dumbest thing to do. NEVER and i mean NEVER packet or portscan the feds. they'll come and they take u to court saying u hacked there servers all they have to do is have some person alter the log of you portscanning or packetting and ure done. |

Sounds like ya know what ya doing there...like you, my counter-measures are only to buy me enough time to disconnect everything. What you may find 'whoever' is trying to do is drop in a nifty 'keystroke' programme which will basically record your keystrokes...so even if you are running things through a coder-programme ya screwed either way. Again ya best bet is to use other computers to do anything shady. You are not alone here....this is a VERY common occurance. It has happened to me and to many others I know of. aymen Agent Smith. i've thought of another part to this whole matrix thing when i was talking to another friend. he's spiratual not in organized religion i'm talking self religion. hes learned to talk with spirit guides and he meditates often and is now goign through the proccess of DNA activation. We were talking about spiritual guides and such and i was thinking. Could the spiritual guides have something to do with the matrix? such as they are the ones who have been "freed" so to speak. i'm looking more into it as we speak. thats just another theory. man is there a USM hall of fame for largest threads cause this one is huge its like at 57 now or something. anyone tell me what u think about my theory with the spiritual guides. |

Hello everyone I have TRULEY enjoyed reading this thread, i have been getting on every morning and night to see if there is any new posts. But i have noticed lately that its getting harder to go on here, like my interney doesnt even try, i type in this site and automatically just goes to the website didnt repond or whatever but i could go to other sites like google and simple sites like that. strange.... And about the spirit guides, i have heard MANY things about them, they have been explained as your own personal angel that watches out for you and protects you, also as your subconcious mind, and also as a spirit that guides you through life and warns you (hence the name lol) And on the government subject, what is the Illumanati? i have to agree with greg. this thread has pretty much gone way off topic. i guess i hit the nail striaght on the head in the first crack (so to speak). i know the matrix exists, snoOks knows it exists, agent smith and thunderbird know too. i guess the next step is figuring out how to "hack the matrix" (no pun intended). and no matter how hard we try i doubt err i'm pretty sure it wont happen. this has been a great thread i've been leacing a broswer devoted just to this thread and refresh it ever 10min to half hour or so. its gotten a great response too. if anyone has any other ideas post em. -decifer |

Spirit guides...okay. Firstly...let me ask you this: Who are you? I don't mean your name or anything - my question is a LOT deeper than that. Who are YOU? Are you the body? Except 'The Matrix' they are unplugged from is the physical one...the body. You want to 'unplug' yourself? Same sorta deal...the individual 'unplugs' themselves (their spirit) from their body and is free to move around in spirit form. Heres some info (more a warning about astral travel) This is a technique that has been recorded in use many many years ago...in fact, I remember reading stuff about it being used in World War II as a method of gaining military intel on enemy troop movements etc. I know that my culture has legends of warriors using astral travel to scout out ahead of their encampments for any enemy tribes etc. Also it is suggested by a few people that astral travel is how some agencies spy on people...what better way is there than to remain hidden in spirit form and enter any place you wish and view anything, anywhere at anytime. Some practicioners of A/T also comment that they have sensed other spirits who have been following them as they travel, monitoring them and such. I know of one group whose aim was to A/T into secret bases and snoop around...many of this groups members went insane, some had 'convenient accidents', some just disappeared for their own safety...all of them reported encountering other, what the termed 'shadow men'...who they sensed as evil, following them around and even somehow stopping them from entering certain areas of bases. maybe, since Astral Projection isnt such a big thing yet, there is some way to develop your abilities in the astral plane, like being able to make yourself visible, there have to be abilities that someone can use against a "Shadow man" in the astral plane. |

I think that the answer to this is ESP. People with ESP can probably detect when a shadow dude is watching them. Maybe uf while in spirit mode you can use your ESP abilities, you could protect yourself, but that would only be possible if ESP came from the spirit, not from the mind. |

Okay...protection from Shadow Men: Yes, there are techniques to protect yourself...but for a start you have to ask yourself this question: Do you believe in God? Is so...then who/what is God other than THE most powerful spirit in existance. What a number of A/Ters have realised is that by simply calling on Gods protection these 'Shadow Men' can't harm you at all...in fact they tend to flee the scene quick smart. Again, I'd suggest you message Thunderhead for more info on this. Okay - so if caling on the protection of God is so effective you then have to consider something else...that these 'Shadow Men' are evil. Once again we come back to the age old battle of good vs evil. However...I know that there are humans whose intentions are evil, and who can A/T to spy or to basically monitor or freak people out. But they are still human..which means that you can, if needs be, fight them while in spirit form. Sounding a bit too wierd I know...but thats exactly what i have done on a number of occasions. Often when I talk with Thunderhead on the phone we can both sense there are other presences monitoring us. At times I know that both of us have been visited by these, as like to call them 'Psychic Spies'. On a number of occasions I have had enough of them hanging around and will just meditate and focus upon that presence and in my mind visualise myself beating the stuffing out of them. This has been effective...though I would not recommend this course of action due to the fact that by doing so you are personalising the battle. You are taking ownership of it, becoming consciously involved in the fight...the trick is to have faith, ask for Gods protection and leave it to him to take care of...and that works well. One of the dangers of actively attacking the 'Shadow Men' is that you may come across one with strong psychic abilities than your own...in which case it will be YOU that gets the stuffing beating out of ya. Also, when you focus on fighting them you are focussing some pretty negative energies...you are utilising your spirit for violence...which is evil...ever seen Star Wars - Return of The Jedi? Same deal there...for Luke Skywalker to try to kill the Dark Emperor he would have made the ultimate step to the dark side, for his actions would have been fueled by hatred - which is evil. So just ask for Gods protection and he'll see ya right every time. Okay - next point...using ESP. Forget that...you'll just end up confusing yourself. YOU are your spirit...realise and connect with that. What is ESP anyway? It is the ability to BE your spirit and through that connect with/engage/sense other spirits etc. There is a reply up there^^^ that seems to confuse the spirit and the mind...seeing them at two separate things...they are not, they are one and the same. Your mind is YOU is your SPIRIT. And your 'mind' is not your brain...okay, got that? Also another point I have to make is: Detecting if there is a spirit around isn't something you can learn as such, or be trained to do...it isn't an ability that you can ask someone to provide you - well, you shouldn't anyway...and I'll clarify that later. Right...okay...picture this: Say you have never ever seen an apple before...ever. And then one day someone places a bunch of fruit in front of you, one of which is an apple. Then that person says "Which is the apple?" You wouldn't know...because you have never seen one...so you don't have some memory or reference to compare these fruit against in an effort to find what an 'apple' is. But...once you are familiar with what an apple looks like etc, you will have no problems in pointing it out. Because you will recognise it. Take that and apply it to spirits...if you have never experienced one then you will not have any reference to compare any future spirits to in order for you to say "Oh yes, I know what that is, that is a spirit"...its kinda like the saying 'Takes one to know one'...the first step is to know YOUR spirit. Is to connect with YOUR spirit...to connect with you. Then you will find it easier to recognise other spirits...those that are in people, just like you, or those that are not in bodies but roaming free like the 'Shadow Men'. It isn't about having any great psychic abilities...no, its about know who YOU are. Hope ya understood that. Oh yeah - almost forgot...why shouldn't you actively go around seeking any such abilities: The way I see it is that if an ability is meant for you...then it will come. If a knowledge is meant for you...then it will come. Too often people go searching for things that they simply DON'T need to know...or that simply aren't meant for them. Now - as I said, if its meant for you it will come...who provides it? I believe God does. However...if you are asking or even demanding some power or ability that isn't meant for you what you are basically saying is "I am an open recepticle for 'whatever power' to come into me and do what it will"...and I will tell ya now what you are doing is basically opening a big wide door for evil to come into you, to manipulate you, to influence you. Oh you might get a few candies thrown your way like some wierd psychic abilities etc...but there will ALWAYS be a pay back for those abilities...more than likely your soul. Peace, |

interesting agent smith but two things. one i personally dont believe in god. i dont agree with organized religion and i dont understand how it is possible for 1 spirit to have power over everyone on earth. it just doesnt make sense. everyone is born with every ability just some are easier to learn for different people. for example we'll take michael jordan and tiger woods. they weren't born with the ability to be great in their sports (i know mike is retired). there is no way that mike just picked up a basketball and said i'm gonna play pro basketball and tiger woods pickde up a golf club and said he is gonna lay on the pga tour. they both tried a variety of sports but basketball for mike and golf for tiger came the easiest. so what i'm saying is anyone has these abilities its just a matter of developing them it just wont "come" to u. u have to try to practise is and then u will know if u are strong in that area. if ou just cant seem to grasp it then no whatever ability u are trying to accomplish just isnt cut for you. but so many people go through life not knowing what abilities they have because they dont try to develop them because they werent born with it smack dab in there face. what i'm saying is we should be encouraging ppl to develop there skills safely ESPECIALLY if this whole matrix thing really is true which i believe it is. -decifer |

I dig what you are saying...however, God isn't about organised religion. Organised religion is MAN's creation...not Gods. I believe in a God...but I don't go to any church or anything like that...my belief in and worship of God is private, between me and 'him'. And its isn't about one spirit having power over others...thats to do with dominance...which again is not what God is about. He isn't about dominating, about all this "Worship me or die" crud that so many people think he is...nope. God receives and gives back. Hard to explain...but God is powerful simply because he IS...he doesn't go around like a big bully saying "Look at me, I'm top dog and I can kick anyone in the room"...thats not his beef. Oh, I also agree that MJ and Tiger got where they are because the trained hard and sacrificed so much for their game and careers...but all that talent wasn't learnt, some of it would have been inherent...which is why not every can attain those heights even if they train that hard or harder...some skills are just inbred into the person. The matrix is what we live,there is good,as well as bad,god,the creator of the matrix,has given us the gift of life,he has also given us the opition to die or fight.In this war,everyone is friendly or so on and so forth.However those whom been reavlied,such as Bin Laden,they are the agent smiths of our world.AS we do die in our dreams,it usually don't mean we'll die in the marix,you see in the dreamworld,you are livign the matrix,and when you dream in the matrix,your dreaming of a program,that is being disrupted when you think of death.Its a virus as you will,so you wonder,what is real,what is fake.All you see is fake,everything you feel,everything you touch,its's an illusion.The real world is with him,god as you put it.God's world in the heavens is the real world,when someone dies here in the matrix,they have either not met the creators standards or they have completed what they were sent to do.Now the agent smiths of this world,our murderer,rapists, and abductors.They have been brain washed and blinded by the internal darkness,that we all feel one time to another.By the way this phone line has been tapped,and I must go,some call me The Real Morpheus incase you wondered,farewell my friend...remember red or blue....you still live in the matrix.  |
