I live on a small island in south Texas and there is this old hotel called the Tarpon Inn. I am not sure how many died in that place but the number is quite staggering. They used to hang people outside on a regular basis. Anyway, both my parents work and a friend of ours owned and lived there so that is where I had to stay many nights. I have a few expieriences from that place, but the one that sticks out the most in my mind is when I was about 6. I woke up one night and couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to play nintendo. I remember it was Paperboy. All of a sudden, the controller was ripped from my hands. I looked around and saw no one. The controller was kinda floating in mid air and the little guy on the game started moving. I sat frozen then suddenly started screaming. The controller dropped and the machine shut off. Jessica (the girl that watched me) came running in and I tried to explain what happened, but she just said it was a dream. The scar! iest thing I even saw in that place was a naked woman in a bathtub. Her wrists were both slit and the water was red with her blood. I just stared. I couldn't move. Suddenly her eyes opened and she reached for me. I scrambled backwords and then fell. It knocked me unconcious and when I awoke, I was in my bed. I believe I was 8 at that time. That was the last time I set foot in that place. How it changed my life:It did not really change my life. I have always been a little freaked of going into bathrooms at night after that night.
