Actually, "theory" in the scientific sense has a differnt meaning. In this case, it doesn't mean some idea someone just made up. The evolutionary model is a fact. The only theoretical part about it is some of the finer details. Go to www.talkorigins.com for more info.  |

Personally I believe what the Sumerians recorded in thier history. We were evolving until aliens/visitors came here and interfered with our progress by combining thier DNA with ours and creating us in thier image and likeness. Bye for now. Enki  |

I guess I will use the popular technique of asking you to prove that evolution is real. As you likely know, it can't be. It is just a theory. To me, it takes as much faith (probably more) to think that man sprang from apes. I don't know, but why would you WANT to be related to a monkey?  |

The reason people think evolution isn't true is just willing ignorance. They wanna believe what they wanna believe. I believe in evolution but I still think there probably is a God. Some people think believing in evolution means you then can't believe in God and that's stupid. I also don't believe in the bible yet still believe in God. |

my question o smart one trying to sound all technical and all is how could you NOT beleive God created us...do you know that the chanses of evolution happeneing are 1 to 45 with guess what 450 zeros after it.. that number is so huge our small minds cannot even comprehend it.. Now if you take the chances of that happeneing and compare them to the amount of time you have before man was created.. like you think.. which you believe is probably about 6 billion years right? Well the you see.. even if the chances of evolution happened 2ce every SECOND there wouldnt be enough time to complete the prosess/... hmm weird. Now as for how do we get the evolutional prosses. You would need to begin with a single celled protein organism.. now after you have that.. it has to be able to reproduce its self. Now once it reproduces it has to evolve and evolve and evolve till we had humans.. right? well theres some probablems with that.. first their needed to be a male human and a female human "evolved" at the same time in the same place.. and they had to be able to breed... now on this huge earth if you and only 1 other person were on it do you think that you could find them in your life time?no it would be darn near impossible, now in addition to that.. you didnt even know that person was there.. hmm now lets see if you dont know they are there. how do you know to look for them? YOU DONT! Alright hun... then they had to have the tools and the mental capasity to make the tools to kill and eat something... but ya know we will go with your hey lets eat veggie theory and say they ate grass, well I dont know how this grass evolved.. i dont know if you think it was always there.. but grass doesnt taste too good. and you couldnt live off of it for too long.. then you would need water.. FRESH water.. which would be hard to find.Now you had to breed and have kids right? well what if you have your lil kiddies.. about well say 6 of them.. and we will give you some good odds.. and you have 3 boys and 3 girls.. now seeing as you are malnutrioned from only eating grass you cant breast feed.. now what do your 6 kids eat? well nothing.. so they all starve to death.. as eventually you do.. so you see my dear.. you cant prove evolution but you can prove against it. I wasnt there i dont knwo what happened.. But i have faith that what i just decribed.. could have happened according to your lil "belief" but considering all the humans died... well we wouldnt be here today now would we? Ah, nevermind, i have a few seconds and there are a couple of things in there. First, no, you didn't have to evolve a human boy and girl at the same time!! Evolution is a process of BABY STEPS, tiny adjustments to the environment that allow more effective reproduction. Those that reproduce better, flourish (to a point). So, as whatever our predecessors were, they slowly adapted to their particular surroundings, which allowed them to dominate their competitors and whence came us. Second, we didn't need to think of ways to kill our food!! We did that naturally. Couldn't you kill a dog with your bare hands? Or a pig? Sure you could (well, maybe not a artificially diminutive 14 year old girl like yourself, but a full grown 21 year old male like me would have little difficulty. Especially when, long ago, that was my life, hunting food to survive. Third, and the MOST ridiculous, is your contention that humans would starve in nature. We didn't. That's just so baseless that I am incapable of responding. I can't imagine where that logic chain sprang from, but it's painfully obvious that it has NO basis in reality whatsoever. Im not trying to attack you here at all, btw, just your ideas. |

We didn't evolve from apes. Our minds, stature, and health evolved. You could easily take a Neanderthal man and give him a clean shave, a haircut, a bath, and some new clothes, and he would look just like a normal human being. But he would still be dumb. The evolution chain wasn't apes to humans, it was humans to humans. Have you noticed how much smarter some of the kids of today are, than they were 30 years ago? That is evolution of the mind. Our minds are evolving and becoming more complex. God created us, and we grew more and more adaptive to our environment, becoming taller, healthier, and more intelligent. And another thing. Where in the chain of evolution from apes to humans, did we start eating meat. Apes are herbivores (plant-eaters), and humans are omnivores (plant-and-meat-eaters). Some humans even eat apes. Exactly how could an herbivore become an omnivore? Plus, the Bible has been around for thousands of years, and Charles Darwin's theory has been around for 100 years. What does that tell you? The Bible is truth, Charles Darwin's theory is fiction.  |
