Sorry i just had to read over that again...it is a truely beautifull story... i remember reading a story about an encounter with an angel. I just went to go find it, as i have it in my favourite folder. Here is the story. Sorry its long. Once its done i'll provide the URL for you all As always, it seemed, I was in a hurry to get where I wanted to go. Traveling a bit too fast down a country road that I had traveled down many times before, I saw, in the distance, a very large figure of some sort in the middle of the roadway. It captured my attention, but not to the point that I was ready to slow down, for it seemed far enough away that I wasn't too concerned. The closer I got the more I became totally fixed on this object, and the more beautiful it appeared. It suddenly took it's own shape, more beautiful than anything I had ever seen before. It must have been 15 feet tall. It seemed to just be floating there in the middle of the road. I could see that this thing or person, had long hair that was softly blowing in the breeze on this warm summers evening. There appeared to be a bright white light circling the outer edge of this form. The closer I got, the more in awe I became, when suddenly I realized that I was going to run into it with my car. As my mind suddenly took hold of the situation I knew I had to hit by brakes. As soon as I did this the form disappeared. Just vanished into thin air. The same way it seemed to appear. I was shaken up because I didn't know what it was, but at the same time I knew it was good. About a mile down the road from where this happened, I crested a hill and there was a vehicle that had pulled out onto the roadway and was just sitting there. I was able to stop in time because I was still traveling at a lower speed, because of this image I had seen on the road earlier. Suddenly I realized that if it wasn't for that I would not have been able to stop in time to avoid an accident. I knew that my guardian angel was at work that day. The story doesn't end there. A little later on, that same evening, as I was traveling back home and on the same road, I crested another hill, and there was a young boy on roller blades crossing the road. Once again I was able to avoid what could have been a tragic accident because I was driving much slower than my normal speed. I will never forget that day, for I know that my Lord is a loving and gracious Father who is always in my life, looking ahead at the things I cannot see and preparing for them. For some, my story may not be all that much, but to me it is one of the most wonderful memories I have because on those days when the devil is attacking me and I falter and wonder if God is really with me, all I have to do is go back to that day on that old country road and it brings me comfort because I am reminded that God never leaves us. I, too, believe there are angels..there are the ones, like in this story, who you can see and who help you, and i believe there are ones who are invisible to the eye, but they help you with as much love as possible..i even have a post about that..how i ran away from home when i was 2..and crossed a busy street..almost drowned, but didn't..there had to have been angels with me..this story truly touched me George, and i am grateful to have read it..b.t.w..if this is your friend who wrote this, how is she doing with the cancer?? What a beautiful, heart-warming story!!! That really touched me. I, too, have "felt" the presence of Angels. There are many times in my life where there was SOMETHING telling me to do, or not to do something, and the end result was if I hadn't of listened, I would be dead. Also, being a single Mom, there have been times that I didnt know how I was going to 'make' it, BUT MAKE it I DID!!! Now I will share with you a little story about my Dad, and HIS Angel... Something told him, one time, in the late 70's NOT to go to Milwalkee on a Business trip. It was so strong that it literally made him sick at his stomach. His boss notices now sick he was and decided to postpone the trip. That plane went down in Atlanta, on an interstate, no less!!! (some of you may remember that) Most every one aboard that plane died. So THAT was the beginning of ME believing, 100%, in Angels. My Dad went on to travel many many times, and never had that feeling again, and he will be 74 next month Thank you Admin for sharing that, God Bless you, and Mrs. Admin.. *GRINNNN* Love and Huggggggs....  |

i believe in angels without a doubt, i believe that everyone has a little angel in them. My daughter is special needs as some of you might know, her doctor passed away a few years ago and i could not find another doctor who was able to care for her due to her illness, and then i moved out of the city into the country and just by chance i called the local doctors office and there was the very first doctor who took care of my daughter and specialized in genetics, so yes...angels do exist..mine just happens to be a doctor that saved my daughter...peace love and harmony...  |

This is so touching to me. I believe that my step mother is an angel on earth. Almost four years ago, she was diagnosed with intestinal cancer. Everyday since then, she has endured chemo after chemo, surgery after surgery. Yet she refuses to give up. No matter how weak she is from her treatment, she can still manage a smile. Her mother named her right: Joy. Because that is what she is full of. Joy is full of spirit, and positivity. No matter how much pain she is in, she manages to care more for others. She will take time out of her day to call all of her family and friends she used to work with just to see how they are doing. Every day for these nearly 4 years, I have seen Joy's body grow weaker and weaker. Yet her spirit is never fading. It is always growing. Joy is one of my inspirations. You know I have always said that Arkansas is where God goes to take his vacations... (-: So it only makes sense a few angels would be there as well.... (-: We hear so much about the hate and the bad things that happen everyday, that we forget there are kind caring people on every corner and good things happening all the time... I have been helped by so many wonderful people, so many times when I was in need, that I decided I needed to pass that help on, it is why I have always tried to do what I could for others in need... Not only does it make you feel good, I am just passing that good act along ... This is a beautiful story. I almost used up the rest of my tissues. I read some of the replies to and Dolphin Which, yours was a beautiful as well. I beleive in gaurdian angels myself, perhaps in a bit of a differant way. My granny died sometime back. She visited me once (when i was haveing a hard time) she sat on my bed and rubbed my head for comfort. Even though i love her, the fact that someone un-alive was touching me, scared me senseless. I later prayed that God find a less scarey way for her to contact me. Now just before anything big in my life happens, be it good or bad, she visits me in my dreams. Love, AngelBelle  |

Life to me, is a journey, where it reflects on how we are, on how we treat others, life is a journey for discovering, and though life is such trip, we have to live each day to the fullest, because this is the only life we have, once and no more. And death to me, is where will be back to where we are belong in the first place. Me, myself is no angel, I'm selfish and jealous, but though, I always remind myself to treat others as a one with feelings and a soul. Truly Beautiful story...The bible does say be kind to all you meet, because you never know when you will meet an angel and I know that they are out there, standing ready to aid us, when we least expect it.
