Posting that we got our tag is our way of thanking the tagmaker who took the time to make it for us, and also thanking the admins for giving it to us..it is not bragging! I considered my posting that I got my tag my right of passage since I did earn it! xoxo  |

When someone does something nice for another, and then they get to see the delight of the individual, it's a rewarding experience. Somewhere amoungst your post, I felt saddened by your feelings and understanding of the tag posts. You know, I'm a grown man, but I still felt excited the day I recieved my tag. I couldn't wait to share it with everyone. It's also an accomplishment by meeting the requirements set forth by the Administrators of this site. I see them as "joyful" and "appreciative" posts.  |

I have seen one post where someone posted their tag and did not thank the tagmaker since I have been here at USM. However some of the tags take hours to make and I know that I certainly appreciate it when someone does a post to introduce their tag to everyone on the site and there are comments about the tag that I make. It makes the tagmakers feel like they did a good job and all those long hours were worth it!  |

personally i think it is cool for people to make posts about their tags, cus it is fun to see what each indiviual tag looks like. it's kinda like each tag has it's own characteristic and personality. they are just fun to look at and i am glad that people post them for all to see

I think it's wonderful. People should give apperication to the people that make them and it's great to see someone who has been around and posting comments to other people and finally getting a wonderful tag. A lot of work went into it the tag! It's also sorta like watching a USMer graduating to a tag. ~toodles~  |

moo here, but having a tag won't make my name nor myself anymore of what it is than what it is now w/o the embellishment. i'm long-eligible for my tag, & finally have a design in mind for it, but i'm happy enuff blending in...haven't been much for peacockery in ages, but just because i don't want to stand out just yet-- if ever --doesn't mean i'm knocking those of you that do. ttyl, -tugger  |
