hmmm it could be that you aren't eating enough, or if you are your not getting enough nutrition out of your diet....like your lacking something such as iron or zinc....or something along those lines. I would consult your dr. about it though.... |

You should definitely see a doctor. Dizziness can be a sign of a serious problem. |

i would definatley go to a doctor ~ it probably does have something to do with your eating habits whether its that your not eating enough food or your just not eating enought of certain things. Please go get yourself checked out.... |

I have the same problem....so obviously I don't know what causes it. If your mom says you don't eat enough, then you might take it to heart..and at least start taking a vitamin every morning. And hey, if that works let me know cuz it gets really annoying to have to stop and hold onto the back of the chair like I'm a baby learning to walk. ~CaseyGirlie |

...just joking in the above comment. I get double vision and dizzy spells too after either heavy exertion or a day spent looking at a computer monitor. The "experts" have called my malady an "atypical migraine headache". I'd guess that this conclusion covers numerous unexplainable symptoms. Suggest this to your doctor...it may be your problem too. |

I'm eating normally I guess, its just that I'm eating mostly protein, but I dont think its my eating habits. I really dont get dizzy every time I am standing, but its off and on. I dont know maybe I should get it checked out. |

you are definatly not eating enough - i had the same thing happen to me when i was anorexic - but go to your doctor because it also might be hypoglyecemia - which is like reverse diebetes. Try eating a lil more until you can see your doctor. - maggy |

Two things come to mind. 1>eating improperly, too much sugar, not enough sugar, etc. 2>Inner ear trouble.(fluid, puctured ear drum, etc.) You should have it checked out. Grandmas girl |

I used to have this happen quite often (not so much anymore, but still on occasion...) I finally asked my doctor about it, and she said that it can be caused by a momentary drop in blood pressure. It's common in young women who are thin and/or underweight and who normally have blood pressure that's on the low side. The only thing that I've found to help, is to just lie down when it happens until after it passes, then get up VERY slowly. I'd check with your doctor to make sure that it's not anything serious, though. |

No wonder your dizzy. You should be eating a balance meal not just protein. You need some fat and carbohydrates in your diet. Your body is undernourished. |

Do you drink enough water? If your blood volume is low, you might have low blood pressure. I'm one of those people who never get thirsty. I have to remind myself to drink. |

The same EXACT thing happens to me! My parents said its part of growing up, but the only other person I know of that it happened to is my brother. And it never happened to my sister or my other brother.I think it has to do with something mental though, (my brother and I are both bipolar). -Sparky the WonderDog |
