I had a ouija board myself, but I never asked it questions I didn't want to know. I got rid of it after a really spooky encounter!!

It's probably because the spiritual energy is more attracted to the young child, they know that she is more innocent and more impresionable, you're letting her play a dangerous game and I'd highly recomend you stop at once.
While the board itself is nothing more than an inanimate object and completely harmless, it's the means of communication that can be dangerous, you can open up a can of worms that you could regret for the rest of your life.
As for the prediction, it will only come true if you believe it into existance, the same way with ancient curses, they worked alright, but only on people who chose to believe it, If I were you I would seek religious counseling, and get rid of that board if you don't know what you're doing(and it's obvious you dont, to let a 9yr old child play with it) |

I have and answer(comment) for the first question,"I can not get my ouija to work."
All boards are different and you should whate and see if it works, when you have time just glance over are look. I also have a tip for you, the ouija by parker brothers and I think any other ouija not by parker bro. has three different things living in that board, the spirit(good or bad) and a suckubust every time you use the board it gets stronger and etc. and the third I can not remember, maybe the board id not working because the spirit knows that there is a demon living in there are is tell you in some way do not use this, but there are other you can use like a rajah board you can find them at anquic shop are some other place psyic path finder something that does not say ouija.
