if i had a dollar every time someone tripped over theirself to apologize...it's not the face per se, but most of the time i don't really flaunt being female besides a bit of eyeliner, & i've been told my voice is kinda butch even if the rest of me isn't. & online-- lol, i'd really be rich if i had a dollar for every apology i've ever gotten from ppl thinking i was a guy, esp. in chats. i don't mind tho...seems all guys wanna do is be dogs once they learn a female's gender anyway, & i prefer halfway-intelligent conversations. mind you not *all* guys do this, but enuff of 'em to bloody seem like it. ttyl, -tugger  |

I have a friend who has that happen ALL the time. He's got longish blond hair (which is always covering his face) and kind of soft features. One time on a trip he was sitting with the driver and talking about his relationship troubles about his girlfriend and near the end the guy said "I'm sure you'll meet a nice guy someday". I think he found that more disturbing than all the times he's been called "Miss". He usually handles it by clearing his throat in a deep "manly" way ;)  |
