How do i get a coke stain out of carpet?

HAHAHAHA ... i got you in here now i can really ask you this question --- i am in the process of trading in my car for a new one and i have these bad stains in the carpet of my car. There were some on the seats but i was able to use regular dish-washing detergent and they came out of the seats easily, however, the ones in the carpet did not. Do you have any suggestions? I know some of the stains are Coke - the others i'm not real sure. I do remember a bottle of orange juice exploding when someone opened it one time ... my crazy college days - good grief!!! Anyways your help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

Date: 8/5/2001 8:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 27046    Blue coral cleaner takes grease out of carpets....its the stuff that you spray on and rub in then when it dries it turns to a powder that you vacuum out....if it takes grease out I am sure it would handle some coke LOL  
Date: 8/5/2001 10:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 41651    If it's a light color, use CASCADE for dishwashers, otherwise, pour hydrogen peroxide on it,then scrub ever so lightly with a toothbrush,or fingernail brush,etc. Good luck.Grandmas girl
