I had a habit of going to my parent's room in the middle of the night and crawling into bed with them. One particular night I was heading into their room as usual when I was stopped at the door to their room by a most unusual sight. We had wall-mounted lamps just inside the doorways to all the rooms.What I saw was a very small ladder which appeared to be coming from the lamp and extended to the floor. On this ladder were several very small people, some going up the ladder and some going down. They were carrying something but I don't know what it was.They were all dressed in green suits. Not spacesuits, just suits, like a man would wear.I stood there and watched them for a few seconds until one of them turned and saw me. He pointed his finger at me and said 'Go back. You don't belong here.' I immediately ran back to my room so I don't know what happened to them. They were gone in the morning. I told my parents this story the! next day and they said it was just a dream. I didn't believe it then and I don't believe it now. It was not a dream. I don't remember any dreams from my chidhood but this memory has stayed with me for almost 40 years and is as real to me now as it was then. Just before my father died he told me he had thought about it (I have repeated this story to my parents many times through the years) and thought maybe I had actually seen something after all. He thought maybe I had somehow stumbled onto another plane of existence. I don't know the explanation but I would be interested in hearing if anyone else has ever had anything similar happen to them. I am greatful for this opportunity to finally tell my story.
