| Date: 10/5/2001 9:39:00 PM From Authorid: 44157 actually i have read alot on the subject of werewolves or as it is commonly called "lycanthropy" werewolves can actually according to the mythology change shape whenever they want the full moon this is just hollywood at work. they can even change in the daytime. and also according to legend you cannot become a werewolf by getting bitten by one , there are several ways, like ,wearing a wolfs skin ,drinking from a pon or creek that a wolf had drank from ,drinking wolfs blood, ect,ect. of course none of this is true its all medievil superstitious hullabaloo.the term lycanthropy is now used (in the mainstream world atleast) to describe a medical disorder where a person who is depressed may go into a state where they believe they are a wolf ...its usually caused by very brught lights ...but the old mythology is alot more iteresting and scary well see ya . oh yh im new here so hello everyone! |

I heard that it was ither the night b4 the full moon, nite of the full moon and the nite after the full moon, but another idea is the werewolf can control which days they change but cannot control the change on the nite of the full moon. LOL Midnight Magic  |

If we're going in2 big discussions over werewolves then I'm gonna voice my thoughts. I have read up on werewolves and there s even a belief that lycanthropy is a disees virus alot like AIDS, it causes the cells 2 replicate with wolf dna in it and this can cause some of the symptoms (eg hairy palms!) Hope thats not too wigged 4 u LOL midnight Magicxxx |
