It sounded like a female voice & I jumped about a foot. I was so scared since nothing like that has happened to me before or since. No females besides myself was there at the time & my husband was asleep. It scared me so bad that now I always sleep with some kind of lamp or night lite on. I live in Crystal MN & I don't remember what the weather or anything else was like all I remember is that it scared me. After that later that week my husband told me he saw a figure downstairs on the way to the bathroom but my experience happened upstairs in my bedroom. I was too scared ask what the voice wanted. Was it a ghost, an angel or something else I was on the verge of sleep but not yet asleep so I know it was not a dream. Every now & then I see sparks of light out of the corner of my eye perhaps it's related to this perhaps not. Anybody else have a similar experience or know what it was? How it changed my life: I sleep with a night lite angel lamp usually unless the bulb burns out then I use my indiglo night lite.
