Dreaming of his demise

I have been dating a co-worker for about three years now. I care very much for him and we sometimes dicuss living together. The problem is he has a roommate now and SHE is a former girlfriend turned friend. They bought thier house together and she is an alcoholic. She gets drunk and beats him up and treats him like crap. Because they both own the house he won't leave and she refuses to give up as well. Her co-owning the house gives her a hold on him that she takes total advantage of. She also uses her alcoholism as a way to make him feel sorry for her and like she needs him, making him feel like he is responsible for her and her well being, just to hold on to him.

Anyway, for about a year now I keep having this reoccuring dream where I acually am floating above his bed looking down on him as he sleeps. As I get closer he awakes and sees me. He takes me in his arms and we make passionate love. He repeatedly moans my name and tells me he loves me. Suddenly I am floating again and she is standing next to his bed screaming at him and yelling at him. She is holding a knife and starts to stab him over and over. This d ream is so real I feel his blood hitting me and even smell it. As I scream for her to stop and try to reach out to him something pulls me back and I usually wake up sweating and crying. I also have a hard time going back to sleep and wind up uncontrollably crying until time to go to work. Then as soon as I see him at work and see for myself he's ok I stop shaking and calm down.

He says this dream is negative and I need to stop thinking in that way because that way of thinking can only bring bad vibes to him. I think I am scared for him and scared of losing him to her torchure! What do you think?

How it changed my life:

It has made me wish he would leave her and work real hard to find a home that he will like and want to live with me in. I find I have become real protective of him and want to keep him safe!!
