How easy would it be to do this?

I was sitting at my computer earlier today and I very interesting thought came to mind. If someone really wanted to use germ warfare, what would be the easiest and least expecting way to contaminate people? To me, Ebay would be the perfect way. A terriorist could put the germs inside the bubbles in the wrap when shipping items. What is the one thing no one can resist...popping those little dots. Once that is done, the germs are out.

Am I being paranoid or does this make any sense?

Date: 10/5/2001 10:57:00 PM  From Authorid: 39258    that makes sense. it reminds me of this one movie i saw a long time ago. these people had these shirts sent to their house by an unknown address. the kids got all excited and put them on, then started screaming and itching.. come to find out, the "bad guys" but a weird powder on the insides of the shirts that caused the kids to break out... but it could be possible.. i dont know how they would get them in the bubbles because they would have to pop them to get it out... and how would they get it in without making a HOLE in the bubble? so yea, just don't order anything from ebay -telsha

Date: 10/5/2001 11:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    I think it would be tough to get it in the bubbles as the only way to do that would be with a suringe or something and the bubbles would pop btu they could put it IN the package or something...scary yes!
Date: 10/5/2001 11:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 3538    Dang,I never thought about anything like that. Now that is a scary thought!!
Date: 10/5/2001 11:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 30229    Wow... I sure hope the terrorist is NOT reading out posts... lol... You guys are all so smart!! I didnt know all this myself... so I hope we dont give them any ideas... THAT is a scary thought...
Date: 10/5/2001 11:18:00 PM  From Authorid: 35720    Very scary thought!
Date: 10/5/2001 11:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 26452    oh thanks:p now im afraid 2 bye anything from e-bay now:p but, true, its very possible.
Date: 10/6/2001 6:17:00 AM  From Authorid: 18201    as much as I don't think they would put anything in the bubble wrap...I can tell you that I'd be one of the first folks to go if they did! I think there would be more chance of contamination to the water supply of something airborne though.
Date: 10/6/2001 7:51:00 AM  From Authorid: 22852    Paranoid. To put the virus in the bubbles they would have to work in the factory that makes the bubble wrap. Shaking head at you dear little one.. you kill me..LOL Now don't panic..besides we can't all walk around with gas masks. Lets hope this is something that never happens. @}---
Date: 10/6/2001 10:27:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25046    And MY Dear Stormchaser, Do you really think that would be hard to do. We don't know who all the people are involved. It could be our neighbors, the postman, or even a school teacher. Their priority would be not to draw attention to them selves. Would getting a job working in such a place make them look normal? It would be very easy. And I'm not really talking about a company. The next person to buy something from you on Ebay has no cluse who you are or what you might put in the package....
Date: 10/6/2001 11:36:00 AM  From Authorid: 38726    Oh, come on.Germ warfare is not as easy as the media makes it seem....No offense Rose petal, but that seems extremly unlikely.Let's see, let's devlop some anthrax, and ship it out via Ebay?...Germs are everywhere as it is,should we all just live in a bubble???RP7
Date: 10/6/2001 2:11:00 PM  From Authorid: 22852    Your right we don't know all the people involved. I myself refuse to let them win by being afraid of my neighbors. If I contact anything then I guess it was just meant to be. I refuse to live in fear of life. I will live the same way today as I did yesterday..except flying I think I won't fly anymore.
