The Bell Witch

Has anyone ever heard of The Bell Witch of Tennessee? If not you should go and get some books on it. It is a fascinating story. And it is actually documented in some history books. Even Andrew Jackson had an encounter with her. For unknown reasons this mean spirit started torturing the Bell family of Adams,TN, especially John Bell, this was back in the late 1800's. But it went on for years. And some say it is still going on. You can go and visit a cave, The Bell Witch Cave, that is on the original property the Bell's owned. I have been there and it is cool! I live in TN so of course I love it. The original home of The Bell's is gone but the new owners have tours of the cave all through the year. And they have pictures that you get to look at afterwards of strange apparations showing up in photographs and stuff. I took some pictures but nothing showed up. It was still fun though. I highly recommend taking a trip to Adams TN, or at least getting a book about it and reading it.

Date: 10/7/2001 8:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 28660    Justice, if I remember correctly this is north of Nashville. Dollywood and the Smokey Mts. are like northeast TN. So it would be a bit out of the way. But, it would likely be worth it. You guys have to read up on this. Its the scariest story you've ever heard. There are some websites about it. Author, tell me if I'm wrong about the location. Knowing me thats not unlikely lol.

They are all scattered around to other places.
