I consider myself Christian, but not by the normal Christian ideals. I believe in god and jesus christ, and the holy ghost, I'm not convinced I want to base my life on a book that may or may not have been written by someone trying to impose their beliefs of how religion should be followed. I am christian in my heart, and I feel in my heart what is right and what is wrong, and I know in my heart that if god did not want me to do something, I would know it and feel it in my heart. Does that make sense? Anyway, I worship from my heart, and I feel in my heart what is right, and no one has been able to convince me otherwise, in fact in trying they only push me further away. I am an AMEN SISTER, and proud of it...hehe!! I think most know my point of view. I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior, I live a clean life, but am not sin free (who is?), I walk with the Lord daily in prayer, and I long to know the Lord better and to become like him as one of God's (I call him Jehovah, or Yewah) children. I don't preach to others, but would rather set an example whenever possible. I try to read the Holy Scriptures, and enjoy reading others views on them here. Thats about it....Love ya,  |

Yes I deleted you Smooth Criminal as this isnt debate. RACQUIRE: Yes, some will turn away but many that have come across USM and that are here today, listened, and are children of God. I can plant the seed and thats all I can do. But if someone doesnt tell them about JESUS, what IF they never heard?? Sometimes people from all across the world come into usm, ask Ginger, she says about 20,000 a day comes to usm, maybe not to sign up but to read the stories. What I or others May say, may make an impact on someone, may make them think. I use to get sooooooo mad, when people would start talking to me about JESUS and saying stuff like YOU have to get saved. I mean it made me mad because they would say these things, BUT never Tell me Why I should believe in JESUS, they never told me WHY or WHAT saved meant. It took the man I'm married to now, to tell me what saved what, what JESUS did do for us. Did I hate being told YES< Am I glad I was told, YOU BET !!!! |

The work of God??? The work of God is to show compassion to people...not tell them they are wrong and going straight to hell for it!!! This is the very reason I am no longer affiliated with any church. I have taken an objective look at many of the world's religions in recent history, and ya know what??? My personal view...I have a GREAT respect for them. After my study, I have found that many of them follow a path much like Christianity. Religion is just a label. I believe all truly religious people are trying for the same goal, yet taking a different path. Firstborn...this is a quote I have taken to heart, and I think you need to hear it. "The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today, is Christians. Who acknowledge with their lips, walk out the door, and deny it by their lifestyle." Think about it. Yes sis, I know, and I like the way you preach it. I, on the other hand, make a website and try to tell people about evil spirits...aliens...pretty much the same thing...and how they effect us. Then I stay out of the way. I pray that isn't going about it all wrong. There have been many, many people contact me and say the site opened their eyes to a few things though. I think it helps to already know deep down to be able to understand anything spiritual. You remind people more than chastise them...that way they condemn their own inner feelings if they find it rubs them the wrong way....Love, |

People are going to make up their minds one way or the other, I feel that with so much talk about the occult in todays world that it needs to be balance out. When the end comes and it will, when our life ends and it will, I can say that I spoke for the LORD JESUS, I can say, that IF someone did not make heaven , its not because I didnt tell them How God said to get there. Jesus said, Many would be hated for HIS name sake, and I think I'm about one of the most hated here on USM because I do preach for JEsus, I do try and tell people, so I guess I'm in good company. |

What does God's Word say a Christian is?..First.. A Christ-ian is a follower of Christ and a doer of His Word..A Christian is also love as Christ is love..When Christ was on earth,He taught the Word in hopes to save souls..His mind was on the spiritual things of God..In all things He did,He had His Father's will in mind..He never once fell to into temptations because He never let His mind dwell on things which are not of God..He also taught that His followers were not to become involved in any worldly thing,whether it be through word or deed..He taught that we should be chaste in mind and to avoid anything that may tempt us to think evil things..He also taught that we should not be luke warm in His Word but to do all things diligently and with sincerity of the heart..We are to preach the Word,reprove, rebuke,and exhort(plea)with patience in the hopes that some may hear and be brought to God's plan of salvation...I do totally understand what FB is saying..Thanks for posting this FB..  |

hi there,haven't had alot of time to answer alot of post lately,yes i consider myself a christian because i believe in GOd,I believe with that faith,anything is possible,I believe GOD answers all prayers,only thing is He answers them as He sees fit,not as we do,then answers are available to us if we follow the thoughtas within our mind that we very often turn away from as intuition,many believe they struggle and get no where at all,that is because I truly believe that things happens in His timing not ours,as for the war,well I believe there is no other way,while there may be innocent lives lost,I believe we did all we could to avoid this as we didn't jump in and bomb right away,we tried to settle things before day turned to night to no avail,I believe that while the Bible says thou shalt not kill,that GOD directs actions,in a case like this,that it is necessary to stop terrorists,asking for Bin Laden to be turned over for trial did no good,and it is very obvious if he is not captured and stopped hew will continue his endless bloodbath without any conscience of it whatsoever,taking more lives than the war will when you look at it in this prospective,sorry so long.I also believe that when I accepted Christ as my Savior He forgives my sins without adding up past ones should I slide downhill so to speak,a minister once asked me if I believed I would go to Heaven when I took GOD as my personal Savior if I died before being baptized the next morning,I said nop,he asked why I said because that was a term of the bible,I believed I had to accpet Him as my personnal Savior and had to be baptized before I could reach Heaven,I also believe that in heaven there will be robbers,liars,thieves,even murderers,as hell will have people who never was mean to anyone here on earth,did good deeds because if they show remorse and accept GOD,He forgives the sins,and accepting Him is the big answer to working our way into heaven,I believe it can't be done by putting money into a collection plate on Sunday,it has to be done by goodness of heart,helping others,GOD gives us all knowledge in different areas,I also believe that the mentally handicapped with mentalities of a small child regardless of true age will be allowed in Heaven whether they accept Him or not up to a given age due to their not being able to comprehend the meaning,thanks for the post  |

Wow, I have no idea what to say for the probably the first time in my life. One of the main points of USM is that we are so diverse. We have people of different religions, different countries, different personalities. Thats what makes USM special. I think that you need to be more tolerant and realize that there are obviously different people here. As far as liking it here, I know there are alot of non-Christians, so does that mean that you dislike them or just their beliefs? |
