I do because there are SOO many stories about spirits walking around after they've died and there's all those pictures and stuff. I guess it's the proof that's convinced me.  |

what she said, tho there have been two instances i like to think someone got their hand thru the veil just enuff to say hi; the first one could've been xplained away as a tv glitch but for it being a) a perfect summer afternoon, b) the tv was securely plugged in, & c) the tv blinked out for the barest of seconds, & i've never before or since gotten the feeling of someone telling me they were still there. the feeling was instant, just as the glitch was, & as i wasn't thinking of this guy i know it wasn't my imagination. the second occurrence could've been a faulty speedometer needle-- my car was an '81 after all --but for the thing working fine once my passenger-- my mom --switched seats w/me. once she wasn't driving it the needle worked fine. it was like the car didn't want her driving it. it was likely coincidence but it was just too trippy. cheers,  |

I think there is a spirit realm. I was at church camp a couple of years ago and my counselor woke up one night and started to tell me about a vision she had. She said that she was shown the spirit realm, and the spirits that exsist in the realm. They were walking amoung the humans. I know that she wouldn't make it up and that God gave her the vision. That is enough proof for me! :)  |

I do, and I always have. The reason being, my mother, who is the least niave person I know, had an experience. My mother is a very no nonsense kind of person. She does not believe in anything unless she has seen it with her own eyes. She told us a story to explain why she knew that her father was watching over her. My grandfather had been in the hospital for awhile with lung cancer. She sat by his bed day and night, but he was pretty much comatose. She would sit with him, until it was time to make dinner for us then she would come home. When dinner was done she would go back and sit with him. One night when she came home for dinner the hospital called to tell her he had passed on. She went to the hospital, to say her goodbyes and to perform the technical duty of identifying the body. On the way home she was driving over a bridge. She hadn't slept very well since he went in the hospital, and she fell asleep at the wheel. Someone shook her shoulder and said "Lola, wake up" (that's her name btw) She woke up to see her father sitting in the passenger seat with his hand on her shoulder, then he faded away. That's when she noticed that she was headed over the edge of the bridge. She slammed on the breaks. If she hadn't woke up then she would have died. This is why I have always believed, but to add to my belief, I have had discussions with deceased loved ones, while I was asleep. Basically, coming to tell me they were all right and not to worry about them. The funny thing about these nightime discussions, is that everytime it has happened, my alarm clock doesn't go off. But I always wake up on time. In fact in one of these incidents, my loved held an alarm clock in front of my face showing me that it was past the time I usually get up. And I woke up to find that the time in my sleep was the time, my clock showed. They are watching over us, they carry the love they had for us onto the next level, and they guide us along our way. ***Shelly***  |

I do not believe in the spirit world. While I reserve the possibility of a spirit world, as I could see someone's mental energy being somehow manifested in some way that has not yet been explained or widely observed, I myself have not had any experiences ever that could not be explained at least reasonably well on a scientific basis, or that could not be dismissed as a quirk of a human's sometimes very confusing interpretation. The mind has many depths and layers that we have yet to understand and anything and everything that anyone subjectively experiences is automatically subject to doubt.  |

Ya, I do TUGGER, have lots of stories. It would be one of the very first ones, so go clear to the end and you will find it. For Author ONLY::: In the Bible, some saw visions, while others did not. I cant tell ya why some are able to do this and why some are not, I havent a clue. But the supernatual is very real and I too asked God to remove any ability, including this, if it was not from Him. If i have the time today, I will find some information or sites on this that might be able to exlain it better than I can, but I know I have to pack lots of stuff today and go through tons of stuff and get ready for the move. However I will refer you to this scripture: Ephesians chapter 6:: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers and the rulers of darkness. " Wow, Shelly that was something that happened to your mom. I know that God works in some strange ways and we cant always explain or try to put in a box, what God can do. I was thinking about this and I remembered that at one time my friends lived in a house that had spirits in them that weren't to happy. The spirits tried to hurt them but didn't succeed. It almost hurt my friend and her daughter but never tried on the husband. I bet it is scary and sad. |

Although there was that one girlfriend that called me one day telling me that demons had chased her up and stairs and had her trapped in her room. Needless to say, she's no longer my girlfriend. :) |

Nope. I have no proof that a spirit realm exists. I just choose to belive in it. And I have no good reason why. And I have never experienced anything to make me belive in it either. I think I am one of those 'closed' people if there is even such a thing, who are unable to feel anything spiritual. PAI  |

Sorry I do not believe in Satan But I do however believe in Lucifer but I do not follow him. :P I know I am doing good God and his Angels have showed me many things in dreams. Including the hanging of Jesus on the cross when I was 7 years of age... and I know that by you hating so much in this world you truely need to learn to love a little more. |

I believe. It's sort of one of those things I've grown up into. My family does't try to hide when unusual phenomena occurs. Just better to keep it out in the open I guess. And I've never found anything to disprove it. I can't say I've been "hurt" by anything in the spirit realm, but I've had some pretty freaky occurances. (Black clawed hands reaching out of my wall once, undefinable stenches. And I was just minding my own business, saying my prayers.)  |
