This small house was the site of remarkable poltergeist activities in the summer of 1990.On June 15, Bill and Maxine McWethey and their 2 dauhgters were sitting in the front yard when they were pelted by a shower of rocks that apparently came from nowhere. The spectral rock-throwing continued even after the family moved indoors and continued off and on for weeks. The rocks ranged in size from pea-sized to golf ball-sized, although pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, along with nails, screws, eggs, bottles, and other items were hurled agaainst the house by some invisible force. The poltergeist strengtened and started pulling off sheets and bedcovers. It was heard to make a high pitched mewling sound or whisper"Psst" if it wanted to draw someone's attention. The paranormal events were observed by dozens of reporters, police, neighbors, and psychic investigators. Many of the effects centered around eighteen-year-old Twyla McWethey. No explainations have been put forward for the ativity.Haunted Places,p.339. 32 DEGREEYou can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or
