I've read books that explain why you can loose weight or do things by hypnosis. The body DOES do what the mind says. This is the scientifical explaination for some kinds of magic done by certain religions (no offence anyone). I have proof of someone being actually stiff as a board, and I have done the "stiff as a board, light as a feather" thing and it has worked. You can convince your mind to make anything happen if you try hard enough. Here is the procedure to loose weight, when done correctly and with enough want and believe involved it WILL work.
Heres how:
Sit in a chair, in a room with little distractions. Have your feet 6 inches apart, and place ur hands on your thighs. Close your eyes and imagine you're in a cave, walk in from the light and keep walking slowly until you get to complete darkness. When it starts hurting your eyes to imagine any more black, imagine your stomach being skinny. Keep seeing ur stomach. When you open your eyes you should feel very dizzy or your vision blurred, you then know it is working.
I learned this from a friend who got it from a hypnotist that explained hypnosis. I just learned it, so I am still seeing if it will work. Good luck!!
