On Oct. 24, 1998, my great Uncle died. His funeral was held on Oct. 28 in Piggott, Arkansas. This is when all the stange happenings began. To understand a little better you may have to watch 'To Dance With The White dog' (one of my uncles fave movies...starring his fave actor Jessica Tandy). My family was all gathered outside, reason unknown and I was playing hide and seek with my cousins that I hadn't seen in a while. We decided to take a break and go sit on the front porch of my grandma's house and talk. Soon all of our parents and grandparents joined us outside. They were off talking about their thing and we were talking about ours. All of a sudden, this white dog...literally..pure white. He came from across the street...like out of no where. The weird thing was we had seen the dog earlier following us around the little sqaure while my cousins and I were taking a walk. The dog just seemed to follow us, keep an eye on us. Quite scary! The first thing I yelled was 'MOM! IT LOOKS LIKE THE DOG FROM THE MOVIE! MOM LOOK!' She agreed quickly with me. The dog seemed to wanna play with everyone, like it knew all of us. It made a point to come to every one of us. It placed it's paw in my hand and gave me a loving look when I played with it. My grandpa said that no one in town had ever seen the dog before, it had just appeared. She decided to call the police to come see what they could do, the police just drove straight by the house. One lady from town actually stopped and tried to put the dog in the back of her truck, to take him to the pound but the dog wouldn't go. He layed his ears back and put his tail between his legs. We had to go then, my parents wanted to get home before it got too late. We left, reluctantly. My cousins and other family members stayed with the dog. They let it sleep in the garage that night and the guy from the pound came the next day to get him. My grandma called the guy at the pound and the man told her the dog had *disappeared*. There was no sign of a break in...through the gate door, the fence was too talk to jump or climb and there had been no digging of any kind. The dog had just vanished. A few weeks ago....almost 2 months exactly from the time of my Uncle's death the dog showed up again. This time my grandma took several pictures of it. She took one she said..before the dog left. His ears were down and his tail between his legs. Yet again, though, the dog was overly freindly. Like it knew all of us. Please tell me what you think. I named the dog Angel after the second time he came. I feel he will come again. Please contact me in reply! How it changed my life:It's made me think more about God and Angels
