Hmmm...maybe I'm morbid...but I wouldn't change sad endings into happy endings...I'd do the opposite. I'd make it so the guy NEVER gets the girl...the good guy ALWAYS dies...bad guy ALWAYS wins...hehehe...too much mushy fantasy, doesn't allow people to become familiar with the fact that everything ain't sweet roses in this world. In "Pay it Forward" I'd have the kid live, and in "Castaway" I'd have the whole ending changed.. what did that angel package mean? Why didn't Helen Hunt immediately divorce her husband? Why am I still logged on to USM when I should be doing something productive?  |
