At times when you smile I know it's just to please me. Inside of you So much is happening I'd like to make it go away And for your heart to feel no pain. There is no weight like the one that holds you under. No bottled oxygen to make you breathe with more ease. I'm sure it's more difficult to watch a drowning than to do so yourself. (I am on your shore and aching) If I throw a line will you catch it? If I drag you up will you resist? How 'bout I meet you there? (we can do this together) If I knock Will you answer?
