Seems like just yesterday when the Sept. 11 attacks hit
The Tuesday morning sky, the fire and smoke, it sure lit
We lost many people that day
But America stood together and prayed
We didn't fight or turn against each other, we bowed our heads and prayed to the Lord above
For he had hero's in the air and on the ground, and we were who they were thinking of
Their families, friends, and people they didn't even know
They stood their ground and a way they go
We all had tears and sorrow for the victims, the families, and for America too
But we came back with force and showed them we were strong and fearless too
WE all stood together on that horrirfic day, and til this day we still stand
Knowing and trusting, that we are all in God's hand
The horrific images of that day still haunt us, but we are still standing and that shows our strength
Because as American's, to help another, we will go any given length
Sept. 11 will go down in history and be remembered by us all
But we will all remember we are The United States of America and we will always Stand Proud, Stand Tall
In memory of the victims and hero's of Sept. 11-You will all be with us in our hearts!
