Okay...ever see The Matrix? (Just HAVE to put a Matrix reference in there somewhere :)) Theres a scene where Neo is meeting The Oracle...and she says "...and don't worry about the vase"...Neo says "What Vase?" turns around and knocks a vase off a bench, which smashes on the ground. Later Neo says "How did you know about the vase?" The Oracle says "Oh...whats REALLY going to fry your noodle later on it is..'Would you still have broken it if I didn't say anything'" Right, now back to my reply :) Thats kinda like something called a 'Self fulfilling prophecy'...basically when we say stuff like "Gee...I'm never gonna catch that ball when it comes my way"...chances are we won't...for we have instilled that belief inside ourselves. NOW...heres the REAL trippy bit...what we VISUALISE we also ACTUALISE. What the heck does that mean? Basically...we create our fate, we draw to ourselves that which we believe we deserve at the time. If we constantly visualise and reinforce failure and/or loss/heartbreak within ourselves, then chances are thats what will actualise...metamorphisise into our reality. So perhaps your reinforcement of negative events by saying "Bad ALWAYS follows good" is actually attracting them to you...just something to think about for a while...Peace,  |

For some reason I think that is just part of life. But next time think of it as..when something bad happens..something good will follow. It can go either way. Life is full of surprises..so whether ur ready or not they are coming. I wish I could help you more, but I can't. But I do know what your talking about..I go through the same thing..so your not a lone..if that helps any! :) Dolphin Princess  |

I guess it's just a pessimist/optimist thing. Does bad follow good or good follow bad. Depends on how you look at it. I just expect the worst and then "bad" doesn't seem that bad. "It could've been worse"...jbdoe  |
