Bad Christmas Gifts.....by TORO

Yes, I know.I know. Its not the Gift but the Thought that counts. When you know that little thought was put into it, I think you have the makings of a 'bad Christmas fit". So sit down, Eat a Pop Tart and let me tell ya about the worst christmas gift I ever got. Uncle Manuel I hope your listening because this is for you.

It was right after the Civil War, wait...no it was about fifteen years ago, My dear sweet moms side of the family gathered for Christmas at my abuelitas house.(Thats grandma for you non-spanish speaking members). Which that in itself was great because we had stopped doing that for some reason or another. Up to the gift exchange it was going pretty good. My cousins and I played a little street football just like when we were young, the only difference was my dad didnt yell at me to get off the street.

Anyways before I start rambling...We exchanged gifts...Everyone laughing and joking....Oh cool my cousin Sammy got a wallet,,,Oh yeah my little cuz nick got some remote control car,,,,Then It was MY turn to open my gift. With the whole clan looking on I slowly opened my gift, It was soft so I was thinking it was some kind of T-shirt....NOOOOOOOOO.....SOCKS,,,the worst gift ever~~~and some BIG WOOLY socks with STRIPES. everybody and their mom knows I HATE stripes on my socks.(well apperently not my uncle)...geez what was up with my uncle...did he have those socks left over and thought "Hey I'll just wrap them up" Did he just get them while walking out of the store as an afterthought?....SOCKs for christmas.......we that just Socks with a u instead of an o..

...I still have those socks...saved up...waiting for another christmas reunion....hoping I draw my uncles name...hehehehe
