When our future is together, Or so I thought we'd planned. She's a woman of great beauty, How can I compete? Just remember how your lives, Were filled with lies and deceit. She wraps her arms around you, As if I am not there. If she's even seen me, I'm not sure that she cares. 'I want you back' she whispers, In her sultry, sexy tone. Then she turns to me and says, 'I want to talk to you alone' 'You don't deserve his love you know, I've heard what you have done. He doesn't deserve this misery, But he DOES deserve my love' 'So if you think I'm going, Then there's your first mistake. I've made up my mind, What I want I'm gonna take'. 'So set your mind on losing, Because his heart is truly mine. You may as well admit it, Cause you'll just find out in time'. 'So I'm warning you, you tramp, You've gotta back off right now. I'm taking back my lover, So get used to is somehow'. Then she turned and left, My heart, shattered and blue. Because I've seen so many times, How she does this to you. I guess the choice is simple, Is it me or her you want? I know at your gig tonight, She'll be right up front. Now all I can do is question, Is what we've got enough. I know we've had some great times, But for the most times it's been tough. If it's beauty that you're after, Then I've surely lost the fight. Because she just radiates beauty, Like the moon lights up the night. But if you're after true love, And someone who'll see life through. Then I'm the only one you'll choose, I want to spend my life with you. So now the choice is up to you, You have to follow your heart. I'm just praying that it doesn't mean, We're going to have to be apart. Because I love you with my heart and soul, You are the love of my life. I just hope I have the chance, To one day be your wife.
