It sounds to me like you think you need to return it, and that you won't enjoy it and what you buy with it because you broke up with him. Since he said to keep though, I would keep it. If I couldn't be content using it, I would donate it to an organization that you like.  |

If he won't take it back then write void on the check and rip it up if you think it's best. I'd do that.  |
