Recently I've been thinking more about Religion then ever. I don't know what brought it on, but I've been questioning all Religions. And now I realize that I am far too cynical, too questioning, too scientific and all that other great stuff, to place my faith in someone/something that I cannot prove exsists. Already, I can see all of the Christans flaring up, but please, finish reading this post before you start judging me.
Jesus Christ did exist, yes even I must admit to that. But, the son of God? I don't believe that part. But, I don't go out of my way to critize people who DO believe that Christ was our Saviour, the son of God sent to save us all. In fact, even as I don't believe that there is any God at all, I believe that Jesus was a good thing to happen to this world. The idea of Jesus brings peace to people, it saves lives, it brings orders. Jesus' message was a good one, and even though back when Christanity was first being introduced alot of 'Christians'<-(note the quotations) didn't act too Christian. I still believe that the impact Christ had on our society was a good one. Many of our laws today are based on the Bible, and on the teachings of Jesus. And while alot of the things that are in the Bible aren't what I consider good laws, the majority of it is a good message.
You won't find me in a Church, you won't find me wearing a cross, you won't see me praying before I eat, or reading the Bible and I'll never pray to any God or Man.... But I will believe in the Idea How it changed my life:As the Title says, I don't believe in the Man, I don't believe in the God, but I do believe in the Idea... if anyone undertsands that
