I sit on the step and stare at the sky, Watch the clouds as they fade away. Mother birds trilling out to their young, Beckon them home at the close of day. A certain peace falls upon this place, A calmness that fills the air. And during these times I retreat in mind, And wish that you were here. To sit and chat about this and that, To cuddle and share a laugh. To plan new things for what new days bring, To sit and share some love. To just be, just you and me, Nothing else is really needed. To simple feel what each holds for real, To acknowledge our love succeeded. Made it through the test of time, And distance only increased, What we found inside, in eachothers eyes, Found together our souls released. Many kisses Sweet Angel...
