I think too much emphasis is put on to the athletics.....ALTHOUGH, at my high school they put far more emphasis *you'll love this* on our bands they were just so darn good....state champs five times running! LMAO! but our sports never did exteremly well......I think more money needs to be put into the actuall education rather than the entertainment part of high school though!  |

hrm...Becky wow...that's unusual lol never heard of a school that way...yah and i agree with you i think they should put more emphasis on the education part too..but it just makes me mad to see them waist the money on things like that when they could be used for stuff that actually needs to be used for yah know...  |

well I think they dont support sports enough my brother plays basketball for his basketball team and they went to state every year but 1 and he probably will go this year but they havent won yet maybe if they payed more they would have won o well |

Definately too much, not only do they cut funding from other programs; but they also favor some sports over others. For example football always gets more than soccer and soccer always gets more money than tennis. And non-sport activities are almost forgotten all together.  |
